1800mg of gabapentin enough to do anything?

I've taken gabapentin before but in smaller doses, around 600-1000mg. I never felt any euphoria so I'm starting to wonder if this drug will do anything besides eliminate anxiety. I'm going to take 1800mg tomorrow with some kratom and weed, will this be a safe combo? Will gabapentin even add anything to the experience?

I really like the gabapentin, weed, and kratom combo myself, and, yeah, the gabapentin adds to it. I've never gotten any ill effects from it.

Yes. Before I realized the full recreational potential of gabapentin I would only take like 900 - 1200 mg and it was just okay. I quickly learned that 1800+ was way better. I would say 1800 is a threshold dose for a recreational experience with a medium tolerance, but I was taking 3 grams once or twice a week initially and feeling pretty damn good off that. Any more than that and you get pretty diminishing returns, but 2400 - 3000 was the sweet spot for me.

i fucked up my plan, i took 900mg at 8pm after a slice of pizza and then another 900mg at 9pm only to end up falling asleep around 1030-11. i was stoned before hand and just passed out.

i am now awake at 5am and feel pretty disorientated. i dont know how long gaba lasts, i feel a little strange right now. Im kind of tempted to go get 2100mg and drop it in a few hours, but ive heard tolerance to gabapentin builds fast. i know tolerance is very relative but would i be able to get good effects today if i took a higher dose?

I just wanted to let everyone know.. My sister in law passed away over a week ago.. january 30th to be exact.. From drug overdose. One of the things we know for sure she was abusing.. Gabapentin.. One of the last things she searched on her phone was this thread.. Please everyone.. You only have one life.. Don't waste it. My heart goes out to you all

1800mg of gabapentin won't do much, but it is hardly a lethal dose, and it might give you some fairly good closed eye visuals. If nothing else, it will probably help you sleep better the night you take it.

well the first time i tried gabapentin i did 500 mgs and felt sleepy and took a nap, then i woke up basically drunk..i was high and happy but my motor skills were off a little..i was quite taken back that 500 mgs affected me like that..u dont need monster gabapentin doses like so many think you do on here, at least i didnt..the highest i ever went was 900 mgs and that had me quite a buzz going..too bad tolerance builds so quick with it and then bad side effects start to appear...
