Hello all,
This is a short trip report and you will see why very shortly.
For those that do not know Lyrica is a neuropathic pain killer and a drug used to help treat generalized anxiety disorder. It is also a very strong and active drug in the regions on GABA receptors.
It has been described to have an extremely high binding to GABA receptors - thus creating a pathway for abuse.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TRIP REPORT
T+-60 - 1700mg Lyrica taken one hour before the DXM. As it takes time to kick in.
T+00 - 600mg DXM (Liquid Form)
T+10 - Nothing to much to report - a slight feeling of being drunk. Which I would attribute to the Lyica as this is a common effect.
T+20 - Browsing the internet on the computer and feeling very drunk at this point. However my ability to use the computer is not affected.
T+30 - I pass out.
T+4 hours - I wake up, slumped over the computer desk and in a dazed state. It is midnight at this point and I feel completely intoxicated. I go to bed as I cannot stand up steady.
T+ 12 hours - Wake up with no hangover or after effects.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overall - This combination is NOT recommended. DXM has a binding affinity to GABA receptors and this combined with Lyrica which is extremely powerful on GABA was just too much for my brain to handle. At which point I essentially shut down completely. I have never before passed out like this. Going from being completely normal and browsing the internet to being slumped over the desk looking at the last page I cannot remember reading.
BE CAUTIOUS with this combination.
Peace out - Love from Australia.
