I've heard that these are tricky to shoot and I would still like to test it out vut would like some first hand experiences with the substance. I can take up to 80mg orally/insuffulated. If you know of a simple extraction for IV please give me your input, I wish this not to be a bashing of not using needles, but please post with helpful information, and I promise I will be as safe as possible. If I wasn't worried for my own safety I wouldn't even be posting. I have experience shooting ir morphine, heroin, methamphetamine, and roxiecodone.
 
There is no safe way to inject XR drugs without using a wheel filter/micron filter. Invest in one.

Those are generic MS-Contin style morphine pills. Your extraction is as simple as crushing the pills well, and mixing then with water. You can warm it gently if you so choose, but don't let it burn.
If you do an extraction that involves heat, only filter and inject if it's room temperature. If you filter a hot solution, when it cools down things can precipitate back out (turn to solids) thereby defeating the purpose of filtration entirely.

This is so important I should restate it - Cotton is not enough to filter MS contin type XR pills. You must have a micron filter to inject safely. The wax/binders are not good for your veins.

I've been knowing bout these micronfilters. I think I'm going to get some, but after I have that, you're saying a simple CWE will be all it will take in combination with the filter to "safely" IV some mofiend?
 
i think *you* need to read the post TC, he's asking if a CWE followed by micron filtration is good enough. It is.

You can't do just a CWE and inject w/o filtering though. The micron filter is essential.
 
I've never used anything but a cotton ball or filter from a cog before now, but I also have only shoot up meth (2x), heroin (1x), roxiecodone ir (3x), and morphine ir sulphate (2x)... All in moderation aside from the meth (150mg both times, homemade ether dope from a reliable source). Would there be any health problems that might persist from this previous use?
 
Does the filtration or lack of cause "cotton fever"? Is there a reason that this has only happened to me when using morphine though I've fired everything from meth to heroin?
 
Morphine in the extended release form has wax within it... Which is pretty terrible for veins. "Cotton Fever" isn't a real thing from shooting cotton fibers I don't believe. Google that one though.
 
Injecting morphine can cause humongous histamine releases, if it happens every time you inject, it's not cotton fever but rather the morphine making your mast cells go berserk and release histamine. It can be counteracted somehwat by taking an antihistamine 20 mins before you dose.

"Cotton fever" is caused by injecting drugs that have been sitting in a wet cotton filter for a long time. Bacteria love to grow on wet places with high surface area, like cotton balls... and as a result, if you let a cotton ball sit and then filter through it a day later, you may be injecting bacterial toxins that make you sick.
