It all depends on how many copies of the CYP2D6 allele (liver enzyme) you have.
The more copies you have, the stronger tramadol's opioid effects are, as more tramadol is converted in to O-Desmethyltramadol through a liver with sufficient 2D6 copies.

In my experience, 100mg of tapentadol = 30mg hydrocodone, so 150mg of tapentadol should be equivalent to 30mg of oxycodone, as 45mg of hydrocodone = 30mg of oxycodone.
