We have run several stories highlighting the Los Zetas cartels recruitment of children to perform different functions within their organization. Authorities report they have arrested this past weekend, a 13-year-old girl who admitted working as a hawk for the cartel.

Officials from the State and Federal Police received a report about a group of heavily armed people in the municipality of Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, and a Police operation was immediately implemented. The authorities confronted the gunman and a gunfight broke out. Ultimately three cartel members were captured while eight Cartel members escaped.

There were no deaths or injuries reported during the confrontation. Those arrested were identified as Alejandro Rodriguez Ramirez, 35, Jose Antonio Perez Gomez, 43, and a 13-year-old female who was the first to admit that they were Los Zetas.

Confiscated during the raid were six AK-47 rifles, two R-15 rifles, a pistol, cartridges, magazines, a machete that had traces of blood, cartridge belts, radio equipment, 303 bundles of crack cocaine, 317 doses of cocaine powder, a motorcycle, two trucks, and a car.

The detainees and confiscated items were turned over to the authorities.

They start young ;)

Legalization will end this madness. I don't understand why it is such a difficult thing for lawmakers to understand. I hope Ron Paul can save us all.

.25 line is pretty decent. I can dig it. Now why do they gotta go waste all that precious drug-caviar for?!

I can't figure out why Fox news hates him though. Fox news always LOVES the antichrist....
ron paul would, given the ability, change the system fundamentally*

"change the system" is seen as risk to be avoided by any "insiders", like those who influence fox news and other media.

*not in a good way, at all, in my opinion... medicare, social security, public education, these things are sort of important

^ but that could actually be a good very good thing if it coincides with a highly progressive democrat legislative branch. It would give the system a nice rounded balance. - shit ron paul is probably one of the only republicans that is OK.

most republicans are horrible and I think a strict conservative libertarian who wants to legalize as president with a progressive democrat congress could be the perfect storm for not only legalization, but also balancing spending, and figuring out how to efficiently manage social security and medicare while keeping everybody taken care of.
