12 hr release Hydrocodone

Anybody familiar with this stuff? I just picked up about 100. they are in a huge bubble pack! very good - I've been on them for about 6 hours now and find them quite pleasurable. Just wanted to know what you guys take is on them, I never seen them before - just curious if any of you opiate users ever ran into them.

Never knew those existed. Unfortunatley, it probably won't be long before hydrocodone becomes the 'new oxycontin' to the media, and it isn't quite so easy to score them (legally) any more. What mg do they come in, just out of curiosity? I will do some googling tomorrow if you don't get back to me.

The ones I got are 20mgs, I'm looking at them right now, about to re-up... Hey if you find anything out about them let me know! I'm curious as to what kind of release mechanism they have!!

Yeah, so am I. Are they large tablets, or are they smallish, like oxycontin?

So...are these a foreign or domestic product? What is the brand name? The thought of these intrigue me.

Hydrocodone SR has been around for awhile outside the US, and it's certnly not about to replace OxyContin .. if you don't have a tollerance they can be a lot of fun (otherwise you will have to either chew thrm up or take several)..

Couple of Q's. Is this the actual brand name? It's not something catchy like "HydroContin"?
Also, why hasn't this been approved for US use? Seems like it would be a less abuse prone alternative to OxyContin, at least in the eyes of the FDA...

All I could find on google with a 'hydrocontin' search was several posts by individuals wishing that it actually existed, and a claim that there is a mexican brand of hydrocodone called 'hydrocontin' but, it is simply a 10mg hydrocodone tab, not SR. Any ideas as to the range of strength on these tablets? Are you in the US, technical user?

It's sold under the name Hydrocodone SR I believe, it's been awhile since I actually had any of them in my hands.. I am fairy certin there was no snappy brand name.. I think people were calling various regular hydrocodone tabs "hydrocontin" as these days people seem to consider "OxyContin and "oxycodone" the same thing - i.e. "I got myself someone of these Percocets, they have 5mg OxyContin and 325mg APAP" .. clueless idiots know nothing about the drugs they use ..

I'm pretty sure they are domestic. I just picked up a few more. I'm also pretty sure they are not available through the regular Pharmacy though. The guy I get them from has to call only this perscription (and he gets everything from oxycontins to patches and so forth from the normal pharmacy) in and have someone from the hospital come and bring them to him.(wierd) Maybe some test project or something!
Yeah- I usually eat two capsules - for the long ride then parachute others as the day goes on!

Ahh...so you didn't get them through an OP? Drat! My hopes of some successful googleing are dashed into little itty bitty phantom floor crackrock sized pieces...

I am fairly certin that they are NOT sold in the US ... I have worked as a pharmacy tech for two differnt chains, spent over 7 months behind the countor, each job about 3 years apart - there was no such thing...
