I'm 12 days clean and I can't lie I've been struggling with axienty it has been coming in waves but I've been managing to get thru it. So today I said I'll try to go and workout to see if exercise really helps ,keep in mind I was a gym rat b4 my addiction, but anyway I was very nervous about doing anything that might agitate my issue. Needless to say I went and had a high intensity 30minute workout when I was done I was dizzy as shit lol . When I got home I was very skeptical about how I felt ,well 30mins later as I'm preparing my hot bath and typing this post I feel f***king great !!!! Feels like I just popped a few out the pill bottle so I guess from here on out I will be back in the gym like I used too ... Hate to bother you guys with such a small victory but this was huge for me as I have been struggling the last few days. Anyway talk to you guys later .

You can't win the battle without winning the wars.

Post-exercise endorphine rush is a wonderful thing eh!

Small victory? 12 days and back to working out is epic. Seriously you have no idea how many people never make it that far. You've already accomplished more then the majority, at least from those I have seen attempt sobriety personally and I've seen a quite a few people try.

Keep it up dude! Don't push it too hard with the working out, remember to ease back in. You don't want to wear yourself out entirely or worse injure yourself, plus I have read that too much working out too early can aggravate withdrawals in some paradoxical way so watch out for that. keep making progress though, you're seriously doing great!!!

Yeah I've never been doing exercise on day 12! On the few occasions I've made it that far I'm usually stuck on the moping about feeling sorry for myself stage.=D

Thanks for the inspiration guys . Oan im def not going to hard on the exercise cause I dont wanna be sore and dealing with withdrawal
