10mg Hydrocodone + 50mg Tramadol = ???

you should be fine and depending on your tolerance (it sounds low) you will feel a nice high

It sounds like your body does not respond well to this combination and therefore you should cease combining these substances.

The chances are quite low, although opiates reduce the seizure threshold so that is a genuine concern. If you have a seizure disorder I don't recommend taking tramadol whatsoever. As has been mentioned, the risk for seizures increase at doses above 200-300mg, the exact "danger dose" varies from person to person and is impossible to tell for sure, but you should be OK with only 50mg.

Just take 50mg per day. Thats what I take for my depression and pain and really works wonders.
50mg is safe for me which I would never go above each day. I always stick to 50mg as I dont really trust this medication too much.

Please note, that the APAP in Hydrocodone and the Tramadol can add the harm to the liver though.

Am being picky really, but hydrocodone and tramadol don't contain APAP - they can be combined with APAP in pills but on their own the names refer to the drug alone. You are absolutely right that it is harmful to have too much APAP though (no more than 4g in 24 hours, and as little as possible in one go so not 4g all at once) but all the tramadol I have ever encountered has been just tramadol, no added APAP. I'm from the UK so maybe it's different elsewhere..

I'm really glad you've found something that works for both your depression and your physical pain btw, tramadol's a funny one but its ace that it works so well for you :)

The brand I've dealt with is called ultram, and it contains just tramadol, However, wikipedia lists dozens of brands from various countries, some of which do contain added acetaminophen. Also, the combination listed by the op makes me nauseaous just thinking about it.

Haha fair enough, and lots of people don't seem to realise that there is APAP in their pills, so was definitely a good thing to point out :)
