Afobazole is very effective for anxiety and it has antidepressant effects. It is a highly effective anxiolytic it got rid of pretty bad anxiety for me and it got rid of bad insomnia i was having. Afobazole seems to help with anxiety a lot and it also improves sleeping patterns, and sleeping quality. I was going through a tough time and afobazole helped with my anxiety. It doesn't cause euphoria or drug abuse or addictive type properties. It is very good for anxiety and its effects become apparent after immediate usage however to feel the full effects you must use it for 4 to 7 days. It causes an anxiolytic effect that is not like a benzodiazepine it has no sedative, or benzo type stupor producing effects . It is just a selective anxiolytic that has sigma agonist type effects, no sedation, no euphoria, no abuse liabilities on it. It makes a person more social, decreases anxiety, depression and stress. Highly effective anxiolytic. I used it for several weeks at around 20 to 30 mg per day and then i quit cold turkey and I had no withdrawal rebound anxiety or rebound insomnia infact my mood stayed elevated for another 2 to 3 weeks. It significantly improves sleep quality i slept so good on it, and i felt very relaxed when I was taking it and I was in a good mood and not stressed while on it. It is just a highly effective anxiolytic that is unlike a benzodiazepine at all.
