Is 10mg of adderall with 10mg of ritalin a good combo? i have moderate experience with both but not together

Mixing these two drugs is just plain dangerous, and could end up being quite unpleasant, too. Both of these stimulants work in DIFFERENT ways. The Adderall (mixed amphetamine salts) works by releasing neurotransmitters into the synapse area, and Ritalin (methylphenidate) works by preventing the neurotransmitters that naturally end up in the synapse area from leaving. The main neurotransmitters involved are dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin - all of which are cause of these two drugs' effects. In mixing them, the synapse area would be flooded with those neurotransmitters (released more than they are naturally released due to the Adderall, and kept there more than they usually are with the Ritalin). The result could be an overdose, even if the doses are "low" to you by themselves. If you want a good high, just up the dose of one or the other a bit (not to an unsafe point), and enjoy that one or the other, whichever you choose. Please, don't mix. Really unsafe. Amphetamines + methylphenidates is just a BAD idea.

I wouldn't mix both. Do you just have one of each ? If so take on whichever way you normally adjuster and take the other 12 hours later. Taking both is not really wise

One is meant to keep your neurotransmitters from going away and the other helps you increase neurotransmitters. Two diff drugs that will play tug of war on your heart

Dont mix these, bad combo. I did this once without thinking and it resulted in chest pain amd heart palpatations for about 3-4 hours.

taking both results in lowered recreational effects and more peripheral effects.

^ This. MPH products (ritalin, focalin, etc.), cocaine, and any other NDRI, reduces the positive dopamine (DA) effects you get from amphetamines, since they prevent the amps from playing with the DAT (DA transporter) and the VMAT2 the way it wants.

tldr: ritalin, focalin, and cocaine tend to reduce the positive effects of amps (DA) while destroying your cardiovascular system through too much NE release.
Don't waste your drugs, take them on seperate days.

Very good advice was given with medical reasons why 10mg of adderall with 10mg of ritalin should not be taken together.

Good job guys!!
