The intranasal bioavailability for morphine is even lower than oral so terrible advice, suess. If morphine is a 'waste' orally, its even more of a waste snorted.

Good advice from swerlz, just one thing - morphine isn't metabolized by CYP450 3A4 so grapefruit juice won't potentiate it like many opioids and other drugs.

Regarding plugging- it has the same bioavailability as oral use but it will kick in quicker so many find it more recreational via this route.

^Me too, I always have to check because its too hard to remember which do and which don't!

Here is a good chart that a BLer made. If you check the long list of CYP450 3A4 substrates you can easily reference which drugs are potentiated by GFJ/Bergamottin.
 
I've snorted Morphine from the 90mg Avinza XR Capsules, and I can say Morphine is definitely an overrated drug in my opinion. Can't IV pills, BoA is relatively low both orally and nasally, and plugging is just a general inconvenience.
 
I've never had trouble shooting morphine IR tablets, I've shot the MS contin's a few times but that's something I'll never do again. Although the last time I shot pills was well over a year ago, who knows what they've added to the pills since then
 
ok well I just went ahead and plugged a whole 100mg morphine sulphate sr tab and I did feel it take effect but it did not kick in nearly as fast as when I railed it(snorted). ill stick to snorting them from now on.
 
I was wondering if that technique used to remove the crap from opana er would work on these? Its the one where you use isopropyl alcohol. this is the thread http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.php?t=425345 I tried this with a yellow 40mg opana er and it worked. Can I try it with the morphine or is there stuff in morphine that wouldnt react well being mixed with alcohol?
 
ok, I just used this technique and it worked, but I only experimented using a 1/3 of the 100m tab. After the alcohol was dissolved it left residue on the spoon(used a large spoon when dissolving) and I tasted it, def had that opiate taste to it so I went ahead and added lukewarm water and mixed. The water tasted like what it would with any other opiate, so I went ahead and filtered and ived. It felt like a typical morphine rush, but the rush came and went real fast. I went ahead and snorted the other 3/4 of the pill and am feeling the effects of that over the iv. My conclusion is to either take this orally, or snort it. Plugging and iving these things for me wasnt worth it although plugging lasted long. After I ived, my main concern was how much medication might have been lost in the cotton filter in my 10ml syringe during the initial filtration of the alcohol/morphine mixture.
 
Do not take orally, it is a waste. Any other method is better to get high, but without a micron filter you can lose more than a high.

I have the IR's and SR's and BELIEVE me the SR's gel up as soon as the water hits it. Just parachute them or chew them. I IV my IR's, they do not gel up but all of the SR ones do. If you dont believe us crush it up and find out for urself. If you crush it and snort it, it will gel up in ur nose. so dont do that either. Now if it doesnt gel up ur lucky but try taking the coating off 1st. If ur trying to take it off and it still seems slimmy it will infact gel up. But morphine SR, ER, whatever all gel up. any morphine extended releases gel up. only the instant releases dont. I just dont want u wasting any pills. and NO you cant beat the wax. I have tried many many times!

Did it gel at all after doing this method? I might just try it. Did u get the pins & needle rush?
