100mg Methadone Solution Dosing

Hello! (And Im sorry if posts like this are forbidden, I am rather new)

So I stumbled upon a bottle of 1 dose of 100mgs Methadone HCL (pink, cherry flavored Mallinckrodt brand)....But I am wanting to split this up into multiple doses. My tolerance is not low but not too high either, takes about 90mg oxycodone for me to get off. Just last night I took 30mg Methadone in pill form and received a nice buzz, but didnt visit nodville.

Would it be safe to measure a dose of said liquid using a standard teaspoon, given the Mdone solution is 10mg/1ml?

1 teaspoon = 4.928ml

I would probably start at half a teaspoon as that would equal approximately 25mg of Methadone, and see how I felt after 90-120 minutes or so....Any suggestions or info would be much appreciated.

So last night you took 30 mg methadone tablet, try starting 20 mg tonight in liquid. Remember you don't want to have too much since methadone builds up in your system.

Yeah thats what Im planning on....
But is it safe to dose it this way using a teaspoon? It's just a bottle containing 100mg Methadone Hydrochloride, so I assume it is 10ml total liquid with each ml containing 10mg of Done'?

A measuring spoon would work, cutlery not so much. Do you have any liquid meds in your home that perhaps came with a little plastic cup?
I keep old ones from like cough syrup and such so that I could re-use them. If not just use the spoon I guess.

Ahh dang, I used to have a little cup that came with some Nyquil, but of course I threw it out haha. Anyways, thank you for the advice, ill be dosing about half a teaspoon tonight. I'll report back if I can remember to do so
