1000mg Pentobarbital (Nembutal)

I have a 1000mg pentobarbital vial (50mg/mL in a 20 mL vial). I have never taken Nembutal. How do you recommend taking it? and how much? Open to all suggestions.

PS- I would like to shoot it, if it's not too dangerous. I have no tolerance to barbs and have only barely ever taken phenobarb and clorazepate dipotasium.

I don't know about injection, there is a vial prepared for injection. That would be fine. I tried injecting the pills once but it was so thick to that it clogged my syringe.

The first time I tried Phenobarbital I took two 30mg and it didn't do anything. Next time I took seven of the 15mg tablets (105mg) and I felt the effects. I really felt the effects at 150mg. Personally I'd suggest trying 2mL (100mg). The effects kick in very slowly and last anywhere from 12-24 hours depending on the dose. It can make you very sleepy too.

When I went to detox for opiates and alcohol I was administered 200mg of phenobarbital (with 20mg of diazepam every 6 hours after check-up) the first and second day and I felt really good, dragging myself around, taking naps and waking up and still feeling the effects.

K'd out he has Pentabarbital not phenobarbital. What he has is shorter acting, stronger, and hits you faster than phenobarbital.

This is what Marilyn Monroe died from along with Chloral Hydrate.

I would not shoot it until I knew what it was like just drinking a little bit.

They made 100mg pills so you are right about the dose, but that may be fairly strong for someone with no tolerance.

Ohhhhhh....yes, thats much more potent and hard to get because that's pretty much not prescribed anymore just like Seconal.

I've tried it "once" with a friend who had a vial many years back and we split half a bottle via IV. So I used roughly 250mg; give or take a little. The effects: very hypnotic. You need to try it to understand but you "WILL" eventually pass out within an hour.

Its really prepared to be used the intravenous route. Its very safe to inject, as that's how its supposed to be used. I don't know about oral and don't have any info about.

Some professional advice; a common initial dose of Pentabarbital is 100 mg.Your new to barbs so you should just start with that dose (100mg) instead of going straight to 200-250mg like I did (I would have done more if I could of!). From what I know/read you should never go above 500mg because that's the max prescribed dose.

Barbs are definitely more dangerous than Benzos, by far.

If you intend on injecting that medicine, begin with a very small amount, to test your system. You can go from there if you choose. Remember, you can always re-dose. You cannot un-dose.
