If it is anxiety that is coming up and preventing you from sleeping, using mindfulness techniques can be a life saver. Listen to a podcast (Tara Brach has good ones) and then practice letting your thoughts come and go. The one thing that I can say to myself that helps more than anything is this question: "Is worrying about this now going to help resolve the situation?" Of course the answer is always no. That helps me let go.
