100 % legiut purple haze..idk about that

just cause i hear different stuyff on websites all the time.. like the obvious one. purple haze is extinct. then i hear that you can crossbreed so you yield purple haze.. so is it extinct and a bunch of bs or can yo actually harvest it. just curious
 
i had purple tree...but i doubt it was true haze...shit looked like a grape covered in sugar...not a high i would run home and talk about though
 
purple haze is nothing but an urban myth that has been around for too long of a time for it to be one strain of plants. there have been many strains called purple strains by their growers, and even even more strains are called purple haze by dealers so it sells quick and maybe for more expensive
 
i've seen "purple haze" being sold in dispensaries.

Honestly, who cares what its called? Dank weed is dank weed. I don't care where it came from if it's quality weed and gets me baked.

I hate when people get all caught up in the name of the strain. chances are, if u get a name for the weed u buy, it's made up by the dealer to make shit sell faster (unless it's from a dispensery). but honestly I've had "purple haze" similar to what Fairfield was talking about and yea, it wasn't even close to the best shit I've smoked. try not to buy into the name game too much people!
 
more then name, the grower makes the greatest difference.

you can grow a beautiful pheno straight in to the ground if you don't try.


that does indeed look like Psio-Tronics PurpleHaze, i grow the G13Labs version. its genetics are often (Chocolate Thai x Haze#1).
the type i grow doesn't turn black purple like that, but vie had it a couple of times. for the odor it tastes surprisingly bight green, a sinus burner.

my TrainWreck turned Purples&Pinks, but, thats only because it was left on the vine so long... a trait, but not an identifying feature.
the PHaze i have stays green, and smells very floral, and perfume like, tastes the same also.


after being so dependent on it for multiple medical reasons, all strains are not created equal, and after enough experience whats what becomes obvious fast.
as a med patient, i don't want any damn Diesel, or BB id feel ripped off personally...
but the Phaze, Mr Nice, OG, these examples for myself are very helpful.

I can understand not wanting Diesel at it is Sativa Dominant but what is wrong with BB I assume your talking about Blue Berry right?
 
I think if there ever was an original PH, it's not around today, or is extremely rare to find the cut. Although ive seen seed banks selling it, there made up of slightly different genetics to in the past. It's the same with White Widow, It's extremely rare to find the original.

These kinda things that seed comps do really shit me :\ There are at least 3 different white widow's I know being sold by different banks, and each claim to be the same thing, which isnt the case as their genetics all slightly differ :|
 
Those buds are beautiful. i dont care what the seller calls it i would buy it. He could call it purple asshole and i wouldnt care.
 
Purple haze is a great strain. But it's not that strong (not a fan of overly strong bud anyway). Truly strong bud needs to be well-grown, 20%+ THC, 90-100% Sativa. That's almost a trip (into psychosis). Man fuck purple haze.

I've had many purples in the past few years, some that look just like that, some with even less purple, some that look BLACK until you closely examine it, and -all- of them have not been anything to write home about. All the best weed I've had looks light green.
 
people go apeshit about purple plants. i dont get it.... stupid rappers making them think color indicates potency.

personally the best bud i ever had was sort of an orangey pink color. and my top 3 favorite strains are all mostly green.
 
Purple Haze IS EXTINCT.

But of course it really doesn't matter, it's still good Weed, but when it comes to an actual strain, THAT PATICULAR strain is long gone. It's another purple.
