Hawkeyeryn said:For all of you who said taking 800mg of Oxycodone is 100% death, you are wrong. I know this from personal experience, because I ingested a total of 800mg oxycodone a few weeks ago and am alive today, miraculously. I'm not trolling, and you may not believe me, but it's the truth. Take note that my tolerance is rather high, I usually snort an 80 to get off really good.

There is a small difference in the two, and in fact it's more of a technicality than anything.euphoricnod said:By breaking up an 80mg OxyContin you have effectively 80mg of immediate release oxycodone...
im sure you read the other posts but oxycontin= time released oxycodone dude. the reason why you think its more powerful is because theres way more oxycodone it an oc than in your percaset or w/e.PsycheViolet said:im just saying that an oxycontin is wayyyy more powerful than oxycodone...

Oral rat LD50: 375 mg/kg, investigated as a reproductive effector. ("Humans are probably much more sensitive." -- Gosselin, Smith, Hodge, "Clinical Toxicology of Commercial Products" 5th Edition, 1984, p. II-239.)
sonic said:^ Yeah, well people also have 2 gram+ a day heroin habits. It doesn't surprise me that you didn't die from taking 800mg of oxy. You must have had a monster tolerance.
I've been trying to look up the toxicology information on oxy, but there doesn't appear to be a known LD50 in mice or rats. Interestingly enough the LD50 of HYDROCODONE in rats is 375 mg/kg!!
