10 day Methadone taper?

Starting this next Monday I will begin a 10 day methadone taper from 50mg, that works out to a reduction of 5mg per day. I was wondering what do expect and how long until I feel normal again.

I would discuss a longer taper. A ten day taper isnt much with methadone. I would expect it to negate some of the more serious side effects, but tour withdrawal will still be very noticeable for a few weeks, although not debilitating.

Kratom has been used by many people on this forums to continue tapering after jumping off methadone. You need to make sure to continually taper the kratom too or it will just hold your tolerance.
