I remember that show!! Used to watch it everyday after school
smile.gif
No idea of the name.
I have a $2 note and 1c and 2c pieces still
smile.gif

And some cartoon about an incan lad that flew around in a golden bird space shit... or maybe on the back of a bigass yellow bird.. and the theme song for it is a really rare Doors song.

and the memories come flooding back... kids on a camp... oh my god...
ah the 80's.
bmx bandits.
commodore 64.
happy pants (early 90's?).
i like to eat smurfs *crunch crunch crunch*

Ah Secret Valley, I loved that show. I could probably still sing the theme song.
I remember this great feeling of loss when shows that I loved dissappeared forever, I thought that I would never see them again. I cried the last time that Mysterious cities of Gold was on coz I wanted to tape the theme song and our tape recorder was broken.
I own the song now

Do a search for it on a search engine, apparently a lot of other people thought that was a cool show too.
80s kids are weird lot, I'm sure you've seen all those webrings glorifying 80s stuff with girls trading my little ponies and such.
Ah well, always nice to reminice.

kimba the white lion absolutely rocks. there is no question... but who could really forget skippy...

"oh the grand old duke of york,

and crushed all the nations of the world and brought them under the rule of satan our master..."

Did I hear He-Man, Nightrider, Cabbage patch kids and the old skool Voltron that was made out of all sorts of vehicles not those crappy lions, but when the lion figurines came out there were two releases of the main black lion, one had a door that openen outwards from the top and was spring loaded while the other opened from the bottom. The original top opening one was only released for a short time. Yeah and it was cool when we had a note with sheep on it but the old $1 notes always sucked. The possum and the frill necked lizard rocked. Hypercolor rocked (I even had 2 pairs of hypercolor jocks... no kidding). Sk8boards were big gumby 'fish tails' and we rode 'ramp' not 'vert'. Velcro was even cooler than it is today (Dunlop XLC's still rock though). Tank tops ruled. Rats tails turned into mullets (of which 'the voice' Johnny Farhnam had the best imho). Scott and Charlene were still on neighbours (and they still should be). Jana Vendt used to be on A Current Affair and it had some journalistic integrity. Movies had bad 80's synthesizer music all the way through them (or bad 80's rock/air guitar). The greatest movies of all time such as Ghostbusters were made and movies didnt require rediculous budgets.
Right, the 80's dont get me started because I wont stop, it was such a great decade.
