1 Dead, 7 Injured in Mass Drug Overdose (2C-E)

First degree murder charges? Come the fuck on.

Completely called for. That dude was a fucking idiot...If you supply a damn RC, you better make sure it's fucking properly used--that the people know what the hell they're getting into.

RC's aren't for everyone, though they're fine for responsible exploratory use. The beautiful thing has been raped by utter stupidity, greed, irresponsibility and negligence.

I can't consider this an unfortunate accident and while that may come across as cold, callous and uninformed--I understand the dangers of RC's, have run into some myself--but i knew how the fuck to handle the chemicals and what might lie ahead.

The scene is losing integrity, and unfortunately control reigned in will not be entirely bad.

It looks like DF released the vendor's name that may be responsible for the possible tainted batch that claimed these peoples lives. Hopefully the word gets out so that if this is truly a tainted batch, other lives may be saved. Just too strange that after many many years of use that there was two deaths within a month. Somethings not right.

Looks like one of the other kids just died, and there was another death in a nearby town that they think also was attributed to 2c-E. This product had to have been tainted! This is terrible!! RIP:(

KONAWATA (KONOWA), Oklahoma -- At least one person is dead and others injured after more than a half-dozen people overdosed on an ecstasy like drug in Konawata.

The Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation said a 911 call early Saturday morning led authorities to the scene.

Upon arrival, they found eight young adults--ranging in age from 19 to their early 20s--suffering from severe drug toxicity from the drug 2C-E.The drug is described as a powerful hallucinogenic similar to the drug ecstasy.

One victim was transported to a Seminole hospital where she was pronounced dead. Two others remain in very critical condition, according to the OSBI. Conditions of the five other victims are not known.

The man who authorities suspect supplied the drug, 20-year-old Cody Weddle, was arrested while visiting one of the victims at the hospital. Weddle is facing first degree murder charges.

The Seminole County Sheriff's Office requested OSBI assistance. Pontotoc County Sheriff's Office and the Ada Police Department have also aided in this case.

My wife's 2nd cousin was one of the c*cktards that OD'd. They usually stick to tweak in that part of the state. These really aren't the caliber of folks that do any research befor trying something new. Sad that ignorance once again got someone killed.

Yeah where exactly is Konowa anyway? I've lived in Tulsa pretty much my entire life and I'm not even sure that I've heard of it before.

And by the way, I'm not surprised that it happened in OK (I believe the death that got 2c-t7 banned took place in Norman), it's just that this state's ridiculous conservativeness will inevitably lead to a ban of 2C-E (at least here anyway).

But then again, OK banned salvia a few years back and as far as I know not much has happened as far as it being scheduled federally.

An Ada man died Friday from drugs he allegedly consumed at a party last weekend.

District Attorney Chris Ross said he was informed 22-year-old Andrew S. Akerman of Konawa, was pronounced dead at Valley View Regional Hospital.

Akerman was one of seven people who overdosed on a hallucinogenic drug at a party near Konawa May 7 and the second to die. Authorities originally believed the drug was 2C-E, but Ross said preliminary tests indicate it was something else. His office is awaiting tests to determine exactly what it was.

Ada resident Anastasia Jewell, 22, died May 7 from an overdose at the party.

Ada resident Cody Glenn Weddle, 20, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder and conspiracy to distribute a synthetic substance after authorities determined he acquired and distributed the chemical.

Ross said additional charges could be filed in the case. See Sunday's edition of Ada News or AEN's Sunday E-Edition for more information.

So, we have another death but it is possible the substance in question was *not* 2C-E

Is it possible that the substance in question could be something like bromo-dragonfly, like what happened in the whole 2cb-FLY incident?

Bromodragonfly sucks - It has singlehandedly causes more deaths than any other RC on the market, particularly if the chemical analysis bears out. 2 CE at a high enough dose could cause death but bromodragonfly makes more sense.

On March 17th in Minneapolis and on May 7th in Oklahoma two groups of 19 people total were hospitalized and 3 people died after the ingestion of 2C-E.

2C-E has been used over 20 years without serious incidents. 2C-E its onset takes 2 hours, while the victims experienced effects after only one hour. This gives a serious indication that the 2C-E bought over the internet was tainted or mislabeled. We have just received news that this is indeed the case.

According to police the 2C-E involved in the death in Oklahoma was purchased from chemicology.net The website is no longer active- and it is unclear if it was taken down voluntarily or by the authorities. It is very likely that the Chemicology was
supplied this 2C-E by a Chinese vendor. Chemicology was a US based vendor selling only 2C-E and 2C-I .

If you have bought product from this vendor then do NOT consume it nor let others consume it. If you have purchased any product from them recently please contact the staff.

The 2C-E causing the Minneapolis death and hospitalizations is said to be ordered online from a Chinese vendor. It is currently not known which Chinese vendor is involved, nor if this vendor supplied other research chemical vendors.
For this reason we urge you to avoid all 2C-E. Please spread the word. .

i got this email from drugs-forum and it sounds like the same incident so maybe it was a bad batch instead of injesting said chem sans research

*HUGE MIDDLE FINGER*

to all those who were ripping on the people who knew this just didn't sound right from the start. 2ce is not a killer. Even if you TRY to kill yourself with it lol people have tried! It had to be a tainted batch, or combination with some RC stim or something

It still sucks that 2c-e got all of the bad publicity. Its pretty much been as demonized as LSD.

In most states, first-degree murder is defined as an unlawful killing that is both willful and premeditated, meaning that it was committed after planning or "lying in wait" for the victim.

For example, Dan comes home to find his wife in bed with Victor. Three days later, Dan waits behind a tree near Victor's front door. When Victor comes out of the house, Dan shoots and kills him.

Most states also adhere to a legal concept known as the "felony murder rule," under which a person commits first-degree murder if any death (even an accidental one) results from the commission of certain violent felonies -- usually arson, burglary, kidnapping, rape, and robbery.

For example, Dan and Connie rob Victor's liquor store, but as they are fleeing, Victor shoots and kills Dan. Under the felony murder rule, Connie can be charged with first-degree murder for Dan's death

So apparently the DA figures that this 'dealer' was laying in wait with a toxic substance with the intention of murdering the people (who he visited in the hospital by the way) that he sold the drug to....

This is just abuse of the Law, it's a shield, not a sword.

intent is eavery thing he didnt intend to kill anyone he was just making his money

4th degree manslaughter

4th degree manslaughter nothing else shoud be giving... but we all know what the corrupt judicial system will do waiste tax payer money ...in my opinion if they died its on them live free or die:p

Mislabeled 2C-E Kills 2 in Oklahoma

"OKLAHOMA CITY -- Seminole County authorities said a second person has died after taking the drug first thought to be 2C-E at a home in Konawa last weekend.

Andrew Akerman has been listed in critical condition since taking the drug, but authorities said he died Friday morning. Investigators said eight people took the powerful hallucinogenic, which has similar effects to ecstasy, at a home in Konawa on May 7." :(
