Methinks this could be an interesting compound with improved potency over BZP. I figure the amide group is roughly bioisosteric with the benzoyl ester group in cocaine. Any thoughts?
 
^the amide group should be fairly stable as it is a tertiary nitrogen and bonded directly to a phenyl group.
 
My bad I can't find the paper anymore,I throwed things away recently to lighten up on my papers,those about inactive compounds went with it,sorry.But I'm sure I had one paper taking up the SAR of benzylpiperazines and exploring if its benzoylanalogs are also active,well,they weren't.Was it a Glennon paper?
 
my search brought me to this- it's interesting, but not really relevant.
