I have been ordering 1,4 over the net for quite some time now and recently have noticed a change in the active chemical that is being shipped with the dilluted water. First it was 1,4 butanediol, then 1,4 something else and now finally I receive a package with 125grms of Dihydroxybutane per Litre of water. Are these chemicals the same and will the give me the same high as the old 1,4?? are there any other risks involved?
pls help!?

It might be the same chemical, just a different name. Maybe they're not allowed to sell the substance under it's other name?

Butanediol, butane-1,4-diol, 1,4-butylene glycol, tetramethylene 1,4-diol 1,4-dihydroxybutane, 1,4-tetramethylene glycol, butylene glycol, BDO

Dont qute me on this, ill have to try to check my sources first, but....
I beleive that the Dihydroxybutane is another precursor to GBL/GHB. Therefore it should do the same thing. Id suggest that you should contact the company and get some info from them. BTW: is it the SAME brand??

yeah it is the same company, it is like the third change in name for this active chemical so they must be running into legal problems.

Not a very good article but it does mention precusors to GHB... may be useful to you.

We had two bags of grass, 75 pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half-full of cocaine and a whole galaxy of multicolored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers. Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of Budweiser, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.
