you know when you're in a relationship, and for some reason or another, the other person makes you feel worthless? maybe it was just me...but if anyone knows what i'm talking about, here's something i wrote when i was feeling like that.

i wish there was someone to blame
but i'm left with just myself
for pushing you this far
i'll never be what you want
i realize this now
so i indulge
all the things i wish to forget
forgotten
if not only for a short time
forgotten
i wish so much for perfection
something i'll never achieve
if i can't be myself
who can i be?
stripped down to myself
no more lies
this is the real me
the me i wish i'd forget
