Reminds me of Matt Jones from Kentucky sports radio, he’s from bell county ky, and love his show, but he’s a huge shit lib. I’ve worked out in the Hollars, and there are a decent amount of dems since they have always depended on government hand outs for various reasons.

Do people make moonshine or illegal alcohol there? I never drank any as regular legal alcohol was fine. A friend had some decades ago and it smelled like pure rubbing alcohol or like alcohol stronger than everclear. My friends all drank it off of spoons, or in small amounts, not in shots, and they all became extremely drunk very fast. I was the designated driver so I either did not drink or I just had 1-3 beers over the course of six hours.

Yeah, there are a few Democrats here&there-- the Crowder family is one example.
But most poor folks in the rural South vote Republican--not understanding that they are voting against their own interests. Trump won Clay County by a huge margin-- like he gives a shit about "trailer trash."

Oh yes, we definitely still make moonshine in these parts. It's not as big a thing as it used to be but it's around-- especially in Cocke County, which is in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mts.
I lived in Gatlinburg for ten years. It's in Sevier County (birthplace of Dolly Parton) and it's next door to Cocke Co., home of the late great Popcorn Sutton who was a famous moonshiner. Johnny Knoxville interviewed him once and I think you can find it on YouTube.
When I lived there I made a little shine myself. It was a small kitchen operation; I ran about a quart a week for personal use. And yes, it was quite potent. I'd estimate that it was about 120 to 130 proof.
PS-- Moonshine is no longer a big moneymaker, since legal booze is everywhere. But some folks still make it for tradition's sake-- and it is cheap to make.

They do. I dated a girl from summerset ky in the early 2000s. When I went back with her, one house sold the moonshine and booze they drove in from the nearest wet county, and the house across the street sold all the drugs. Good moonshine is rare, but I’ve came across it a few times. It’s sort of a meme, rather just have a quality bourbon.

It’s sort of wild when I worked with some folx from all around eastern ky, they mostly voted democrat. But this was around the time Trump was running, and they all agreed with trump on virtually every issue. Yet they still would say they are voting Hillary, granted many were embarrassed. Their family always voted that way, and that’s just how it was.
As the parties have flipped, and democrats abandoned labour favouring open borders policies, I think the republicans have unquestionably became the working class party. You can tell when the switch happened when Bernie changed his view on having borders to protect wages, to the en vogue policies supported now, which is seemingly an unchecked total open border.

It is,hilarious to me how Gen Z thinks that they invented being out as LGB/LGBT. Of course they believe the false revisionist history and narrative that "A BLACK TRANSWOMYN OF COLOUR STARTED THE STONEWALL RIOTS! REEEE!"
In reality the Stonewall demonstrations were not that big of a deal, it was started or involved majority white/European gays, bisexuals, and lesbians. I personally know multiple bisexual and gay men and women who were there and transsexuals/trans people were not involved, not there, were all fucked up on heroin or out turning trick$, and even normal everyday LGB people who were not political activists went to see the demonstrations but did not get arrested or too close. Why? Even after the Stonewall demonstrations the vast majority of LGB people, well up until the early 2010s in many places were discreet, semi-out, out to friends and perhaps some family members but not to their parents or grandparents, bosses at work, etc.
One friend's former partner walked by the Stonewall demonstrations and saw how "Nobody there was sexy or cute, and being there was begging to be arrested. The 2nd night when the drag queens showed up most LGB people stayed away as drag queens were really loathed, caused drama/fights, were dressed like hookers, or on and holding drugs and didn't care if they were arrested as it was not the first time, etc." So he went to the piers and other bars to find hot men who wanted sex.

The autistic mindset tends to see things in black and white, and so if a child doesn’t feel like a girl or does not want to be a girl or female — and this might be because they don’t feel pretty enough to be a girl, are fat, hate having periods, etc. — then they believe they must be a boy, or if they play with boy's toys, like sport, are a tomboy, more masculine, want to know what it is like being a boy or being actually really male with an actual real boy or man's body and everything, imitate a boy by peeing standing up, etc. that they must be a "boy" or have always been "male".
that is not how it works.
This is accelerated or exacerbated by social media, like Instagram, peer pressure, teachers, gender "therapists", gaslighting, manipulation, etc. or parents being told that if they do not allow their son or daughter to take hormones, have irreversible dangerous surgery, etc. that the severely mentally ill child, teen, or young adult will commit self-murder or suicide.
It’s utterly disgusting how these poor kids, teens, and young adults aren’t getting the appropriate support they need.
All of our systems and institutions are compromised and corrupted in the Western world, and even other regions. But the globalist "leaders" poured lots of $€£ into trans programs both in the Western world and elsewhere, when there is no need for this at all and it is a complete waste of money.
