I think that I should patent the COVID radio mask from this dream I had a few nights ago...

Mar 6-7, 2021: "Black Flag Reunion"

Black Flag had reunited with Henry Rollins on vocals and was playing at the local mall. I got up there and realized that I had forgotten my mask, so I asked some lady working at a nail salon for one. It had a large mesh that covered almost my entire face (like the front half of a beekeeper's mask) and a built-in radio, complete with earbud.

I had apparently missed their show and left the mall. Outside there was a Beatles cover band coming in and they were only about one or two feet tall.

I couldn't find my car at first and when I did it looked strange, which finally made me realize that I was dreaming. I flew over the mall and saw that it had been replaced by a large pond, so I dove underwater but it was cloudy and all that I saw was the usual seaweed and such.

I forgot that I was dreaming and found myself back in the car. I pulled away and all of the traffic lights on the main road were not working, plus the street was grooved pavement covered in snow and ice. I drove carefully and saw Black Flag playing outside at a local bar with Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers on bass.

I even got to make out with some young woman working at the venue. All in all, a pretty cool dream!

I finally have a few interesting dreams to get caught up on here...

Mar 15-16, 2021: "Strange Soda, Foot Tube"

I was drinking some thick, disgusting soda with big bubbles that were partly solid and reminded me of jelly beans. It was sort of like those aloe vera or grass jelly drinks that have chunks in them.

I had a clear plastic tube in the bottom of my right foot that was about 6 inches long and running up into my lower leg. It was apparently the result of some medical procedure.

Mar 16-17, 2021: "New Office Job"

I got a new job working in an office that I think was supposed to be for the GEICO insurance company. I had to work 12 hours a day and kept on looking at the clock, seeing that almost no time had passed. A female co-worker was flirting with me and I liked her but was afraid of getting in trouble, so I sort of backed off whenever she was around. My boss was a rude young guy who got irritated with me because I forgot that we weren't supposed to cover Geo Metro cars for some reason.

Mar 17-18, 2021: "Office Job, Part 2"

(This took place in an office similar to the previous night's dream.)

I was at the office and there was a bunch of takeout Chinese food behind the counter, plus a bag of those multicolored Allsorts licorice candies with coconut and everything in them. I kept on eating but couldn't get full. Some lady had a plastic troll doll and set its hair on fire as a joke, and I freaked out because there was flammable paper everywhere.

had a insane dream of going mushroom hunting last night and eating them. Was tripping mad balls. its a sign the season will start soon. everybody was speaking in tounges while the visual content of the dream was very surreal.
 
Paul Gilbert was playing from a high open rooftop building. It was a sunny day, but still a fair number of clouds, the city was a nice mid sized midwest looking town. It must have been around 3:30pm.
 
I've brought back the old "dream journal thread" with many hundreds of posts, which was deleted at the OP's request, but since new privacy measures have been taken I wanted to bring back all the awesome posts we have had in here over the years. :) I also merged the new one in with it. Share your dreams!
 
Some interesting dreams I've had lately. I keep handwritten journals so that I don't forget them.

- I was riding in the back of a roofless van and the clouds were low enough to touch them. They felt like wool or some kind of fabric. I tried to get some kind of kebab/shawarma from a Middle Eastern restaurant but the employees were having a violent argument so I left.

- There were lions in my back yard and my mom tried to shoo them away but I warned her not to. I rented the Batmobile from the 1960's TV show and realized that I had to return it, but I couldn't remember how to get there.

- I picked up my prescriptions at an outdoor pharmacy downtown, but I ended up with somebody else's by mistake and they chased me down the street to get them back. I had a "Call of Duty" board game that I had apparently borrowed from a young lady and forgot to return.

- I ordered a pizza from the local bar/restaurant but they couldn't make me one because the oven filled the building with smoke. I got one from the place next door and brought it back, then realized that it was rude to eat somebody's else's food in their establishment.

- I was trying to smoke weed in the parking lot of a local shopping mall, but there were policemen and security guards everywhere so I decided not to. They were dressed like English "bobbies" from the 1800s.

- I went online to look at some video (porn?), but it turned out to be some sick footage of a guy suffocating kittens by putting plastic bags over their heads!

- I was working the night shift at a supermarket and I couldn't leave because there was too much to get done. It was something like 4 o'clock in the morning and I hadn't eaten all day.

- My dad got drunk and tore our Christmas tree down. He was being really mean to me and insulted me for having skinny arms.

- I did kung fu with some guy in a supermarket.

- We were having a family reunion at a local ballfield and I wasn't allowed to touch the food (hot dogs, pizza, etc.) until our guests arrived. I tried to amuse myself by tossing baseballs in the air and hitting them but I couldn't make contact with any of them (I'm actually a pretty good batter in real life so it freaked me out). In the meantime, Russia launched nuclear missiles at us and I could see mushroom clouds in the distance.

Last night I dreamed that I was wearing a red fisherman's hat with a big pair of copper-rimmed sunglasses. I actually own both of those items (I think that they were my dad's from years ago) but I never actually use them.
 
I was reading my journals from when I was in my late teens to early 20's and remembered how plagued I was by night terrors back then. Thank God that I finally outgrew them.

I would be startled awake thinking that some catastrophe was occurring (like the house was about to burst into flames or something) and run out of my room. A couple of times I actually made it outside before I came to my senses.

I actually kept a "night terror log" for a while because sometimes it happened 2 or 3 times a week and I was trying to figure out what triggered it.
 
I had a couple of vivid dreams last night:

- I kept looking around the house for my dad's Xanax and finally found them, but he only had a few left so I didn't take any. Later I asked him for one and he said that I already owed him something like 40 pills that he had either given me or I had taken in the past.

- Some guy from England was in the kitchen talking to my mom about buying our house. I started talking to him about the old Wawa convenience stores for some reason. There was a bunch of anchovy pizza lying around, and I was watching a cool lightning storm going on outside.

- I found a large bottle of whiskey in my room, and I hate whiskey but decided to keep it in case I had an anxiety attack or something.
 
A few recent crazy dreams of mine:

- I was relaxing on the bed with my ex-girlfriend and she said that I was acting as though I was "knee-deep in alcohol".

- A female friend was at my house and letting some sketchy dudes come in to hang out, then she left and I was alone with these crackhead/tweaker-looking guys. I left them there and went to a police dept. (?) that looked more like a bus terminal, where the man behind the desk implied that the guys in my house were actually undercover cops.

- My mom accused me of having left doors to the house open overnight from some drug-induced blackout.

- My dad said that he had cancer because the skin on his chest was peeling. He was also working in retail with the 1980's baseball player Ron Davis, and planned to learn better English so that he wouldn't have a low-paying job where he was "always being paged over an intercom.".

An extremely vivid dream I had the other night:

- Quentin Tarantino was directing an old-fashioned silent film in the middle of a mall, and I was one of the extra walk-on actors. Everything was made to look authentic from around the late 1800's, so I got to wear the fancy clothes and all. It was pretty cool. Part of the set was an apothecary filled with antique bottles and everything.

They were even filming on the vintage cameras that were supposedly emitting radioactive rays for some reason, so we all had to wear layers of lead and things inside our mouths. I kept trying to take it all out after the filming and it was coming out like twisted balls of electrical tape with tiny plastic comb fragments to keep its shape. Not comfortable.

I couldn't find my way out to the car and it started to feel as though I was stuck inside some kind of a creepy time loop for quite a while before I finally woke up.

The last dream I remember is that The Who were playing at a park behind my house. It was too crowded for me to see them in person, but I was watching the show live from a TV set on my bedroom wall.

My dad was also taking a shower in my closet for some reason. :?

Oh yeah, and two women that I used to work with came to pick me up on a tandem bicycle. They were running late and I was in a bad mood, so they started making out with each other to cheer me up. It worked!!!

The last 2 nights I have had tons of dreams, as I've woken up at dawn and half-slept until I got up. I had a few dreams where I was still with my ex and was upset about it, and wondered why the fuck I wasn't with my girlfriend. This used to happen a lot. I was even 2 levels deep into dreams once and was with my girlfriend in the second level, but wondered why I wasn't with my ex, that was weird, it was like I had swapped their identities but not their faces. Then the mot recent one I had involved me and my siblings and mom, we were all in a younger state, I guess about 20 years ago because my brother was about 12 and my sister was a late teenager. We were all at a house that was supposed to be my mom's/our house, but it was immensely more huge than the real thing. My extended family was over. Me and my sister were going around trying to party. I remember I had some MDA. We kept finding rooms and doing things and I remember laughing a lot and sneaking around. At one point my little brother said the word "booty" by accident as part of some other word and was mortified and kept saying "oh my god that was a bad word". It was a really fun dream, strange though because my sister and I never really partied that way.

Yesterday I had a dream where I was under my house and instead of a tiny crawl space, it was a cavernous area I could stand up in, and there was concrete foundation that was somehow soft with water and could be chipped off with my fingers, and I was freaking out that my house was going to collapse. Then later in a different dream, I just remember smelling some amazing smell, I couldn't get enough of it, and somehow I was also perceiving it as sound at the same time, and the sound was the most incredible music. I was sure I wouldn't be able to forget the details of that one but of course I can't at all now.
