I'm sure there are conservatives who have been directly touched by addiction or their close family member that gain some compassion.

Like everything with conservatives, they only care once it affects them.

Ask any conservative that does not have an addict loved one what they think and they'll tell you that they deserve to die or rot in a cell.
 
damn. was stationed there 2011-2015...got introduced to heroin and crack in Fayetteville. 82nd Airborne. Try jumping from a c-130 during opiate withdrawals. fml
