If you really took my Mao example of me giving the "green light" to shooting gays you have totally missed the point and it's so clear what I'm trying to express i can't put it another way. The left always view things in a none-dual way which is stupid.

There are exponentially more trans people than there are nhs surgical referrals!

it was about the best proxy data I could find, there's not really any good way of identifying how many actual post op transitions have happened - the census data only asked if people "identify", not transitioned.

"exponentially" more trans people is a bit of a stretch imho, the point is they are a small minority.

There's a difference between post and pre-op too, the census only really looks are self identification.

From the census:-

Gender identity refers to a person’s sense of their own gender, whether male, female or another category such as non-binary. This may or may not be the same as their sex registered at birth.

The question on gender identity was new for Census 2021. It was added to provide the first official data on the size of the transgender population in England and Wales. The data will help to:

  • provide better quality information for monitoring purposes
  • support anti-discrimination duties under the Equality Act 2010
  • aid allocation for resources and policy development
The question was voluntary and was only asked of people aged 16 years and over. People were asked “Is the gender you identify with the same as your sex registered at birth?”, and had the option of selecting either “Yes”, or selecting “No” and writing in their gender identity.

Across England and Wales, there were responses from 45.7 million people (94.0% of the population aged 16 years and over).

A total of 45.4 million (93.5%) answered “Yes”, indicating that their gender identity was the same as their sex registered at birth.

Fair enough, I did misunderstand your implication. What I would say is that I’m not a Communist and am vehemently opposed to any form of Authoritarianism so am more than happy to agree that no hard left revolutionary regime is good on these kinda issues either. Bigotry is bigotry no matter the political leanings.

Personally, I’d say these type of social “culture war” issues are more relevant to the Authoritarian vs Libertarian axis of the political compass than the Left vs Right.

I’m on the Libertarian Left so it’s a no-brainer for me, but the Libertarian Right also has no problem with LGBT+ issues either.

Owkay let me break it down for you why I think people that are in a "male" body or "female" body yet think they are of the gender of the other sex are a little mad, when you go to sleep or go deep into Samadhi your name, gender, location, amount of money you have, who you voted for, what food you like / dislike goes away & "you" as an Ego vanishes YET upon "waking" the Ego & the way the brain registers "I AM THAT" kicks back in so all projection of yourself as in an Ego is false.

You think YOU are male, post on BL, Live with Sadie up North yet this is all Data registered from LIMITED incoming Data of TRUTH which is based beyond this I AM........ because this is a mere movie being projected & you take it to be Real.

If I smoked a huge dose of Salvia is it REAL & Objective Truth that I may have to live 100,000 years as a Rock? I feel as a Rock, I see everything as a Rock yet when I am finished it's over which is the same thing as thinking I am a Man born in a male body but I am actually a Woman.

People from Nisargadatta Maharaj, Marcus Aurelius, Rama Krishna have all said this same thing but in different ways, you choose to view this movie as Objective while everything is Subjective at the very best & in Truth isn't even that as that's more "time at the Cinema watching the Movie"

It's ALWAYS people who make the most noise on subjects like this that have never been in Samadhi or a None-Dual state.

1) In absolute reality, nothing actually happens. The world and individual identities are merely projections moving across the screen of consciousness.
2) The ego or "person" is a product of a misunderstanding and false self-identification with thoughts, memories, and the body.
3) Waking life is a dream. Just as a dream vanishes upon waking, the objective world and personal identity dissolve when body-consciousness and mental conditioning cease.
4) To realize reality, one must abandon all cultural conditioning, self-concern, and intellectual concepts, including the idea of being human or a separate gender.
5) Because you OBSERVE the body the body CANNOT BE the observer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A former friend of mine also wore suits, shirts and ties, on occasions when he didn't have to.

When I asked him if he did that so that he'd generally get treated with more respect, he didn't directly confirm, but the look on his face seemed to suggest that my hunch was at least partly correct.

Some people are extremely superficial and judgemental, and definitely do judge others more negatively if they aren't wearing smart / expensive / designer clothing and driving brand new luxury German cars, etc, etc..

Those people are definitely not my kind of people though, in fact, they are literally poles apart from my own values and beliefs.

I have no issue with your religious beliefs, but you cannot possibly expect those who hold different beliefs to abide by them.

So I’ll give you a pass on religious grounds, but be aware I see this as no different from Conservative Christians refusing to make gay couples’ wedding cakes.

Incidentally, by your own non-duality dogma you shouldn’t give the slightest of shits what trans folk do as they are simply another facet of the godhead just like yourself and everything else in existence.
 
i imagine a world in which people who seek to deny others their own gender expression will be reincarnated as transgender/non-cis individuals and they'll spend a miserable second lifetime being told by people like themselves that something they know to be true with every fiber of their being is just stupid and not real.

can they even, for just a second, sincerely put themselves in their shoes and try to imagine how utterly soul-destroying it might be?
