To be clear, I think it's horrible that 'the process is the punishment' has now become a way to avoid the need to prove a case beyond reasonable doubt BUT even after winding down his UK based legal entities and paying of his debts, this is still someone with a net worth of $15-$20 million. You cut your coat according to your cloth and this person isn't exactly short on cloth.

I couldn't quite bring myself to watch one (I've eaten today) but I note that after a few peaks and troughs, each one gets 35000-45000 views (a few are more, a few are less) which I am informed pays $2-$20/thousand views i.e. $70-$350 (depending on who is prepared to allow their ads to bookend a show). I can only presume he sells his own tat as even 1 producer/editor will charge that much.
But I have clan who were journalists so I know that control-rooms have kill switches, a dump-delay and ALWAYS have safety-reel (a pre-recorded section to cut to). In essence it's presented as a fair interview but guests are cafefully selected and in this on-demand era where everyone goes on everyone else's podcasts, being nasty to each other is a zero-sum game.
