Russel Brand... your thoughts?

I didnt read the whole thread but long story short --- same douchebag song and dance new actor.

Fucked underage women, acted horribly (Not literally on scene): Was outed --- did the "I changed look at the bible" song and dance....unsurprisingly it looks like he did not change and knows little about the bible.

Classic trick, not sure why it works --- or ever did in the first place. "You are a horrible person and a liar, but you say you have changed? I believe you and need to see no proof!"

also the dude is a whore, no place he wont show up no product he wont plug --- is he a maga fuck now too?

I will be honest though I did not like him a single bit before I had any good reason not to --- than got to go "I was right I knew it" but god knows how many ppl I said something was off with and never did anything wrong

I bet £1 that RB will use the classic 'Old Testement Defence'.

Deuteronomy 22:28-29

That was exactly the clip that came to mind --- that and trump not having a favorite passage or being an old testament or new testament guy.
By the way protip --- Play the religion card in legal and public opinion court. It works every damn time.

Oh no not Bear Grylls too!! -- Been knowing he was a fraud since he put a line of machetes out. Did he do anything worse than baptize russel brand and be a fraud?

Being a survival expert is an odd 'career' choice. I note much is made of him being ex-SAS. Yes, 21 SAS(R) AKA 'The Artists Rifles' or more the more general term 'weekend warriors' because it's a RESERVE regiment where plumbers and bricklayers spend some of their their weekends playing at being soldiers. It's not nothing but stating 'ex-SAS' is clearly intended to mislead.

I honestly think that finding Jesus is enough to provide a large enough viewership/readership in the USA so that people who become 'untouchables' can push the whole 'well, YOU should forgive me' thing.

The don only lasted long enough to sell his bibel (sic) but in essence he understood that enough people who just say 'well, everything bad he did was before he found Jasus' and that HONESTLY seems to be enough.

That seperation of church and state went for a burton, that's all I can say!

If you put Bear Grylls and Ray Mears on an island together in a survival situation, only Ray is coming out alive.
Yeh proper outdoors man
Loved that episode where he dug a pit like the Polynesians do and cooked a leg of venison ,man I bet that's the best way to cook large pieces of meat
Sorry for all the vegetations on the forum

'Gone for a Burton' is one of those odd phrases in that both source and meaning are both uncertain.

WW2 RAF parlence for 'ending up in the drink' WOULD fit the sort of fit the fatalism common at the time but it's also been suggested that Burton was the one of the first pilots who went MIA over water and that double meaning would make it more memorable. Burton's ale was popular so would also fit the reason why it referred to 'going into the drink'.

But I admit, I've NEVER heard a donkey use that phrase.

Now if that first RAF officer named Burton who went MIA over water WAS a donkey, that would neatly fit neatly.

If he was flying a donkey when he went MIA, that would be an amazing coincidence. You may laugh but the Soviet Polikarpov I-16 fighter was nicknamed 'donkey' although I grant you an RAF pilot who was a donkey MIA in an aircraft nicknamed 'donkey' sounds a bit unlikely to me, if I'm honest.

A phrase remembered 80+ years on referring to a donkey flying a donkey going MIA is niche to say the least.
