Benzos New age benzos... any tried?

It probably has a glutamatergic component; however, the brain is a network. You are probably prone to hyperarousal, but that shouldn't be reduced to "a problem with glutamate". Benzos and alcohol, they point in the same biochemical direction. If you have ever abused stimulants, benzos, or alcohol, perhaps that's the answer

I don't disagree, that's what I would say to someone, but like I mentioned, its genetic.

One of my first drug experiences was taking diazepam as a teenager and I had mania and anxiety. Well before I used a lot of drugs or drank.

And the only drug that ever exacerbated the effect was alcohol.

The closest thing I can compare the feeling to is acute alcohol withdrawal, but that's also a poor comparison.

Also, I get the same effect from taking magnesium glycinate. Glycine plays a crucial role in the brain as an agonist of glutamate. Yet for the vast majority of people it has a calming and hypnotic effect. That's also contradictory lol.

For whatever reason, my CNS, under certain but specific conditions, releases glutamate instead of inhibiting it.

I think there is enough here to support my hypothesis that the main mechanism is glutamate overactivation.

Yet in the end nobody knows how or even why it happens. Brains are strange.

Oh I almost forgot to mention that dissociatives including DXM, as well as the medication Acamprosate helps a lot when this happens. Acamprosate normalizes overactive NDMA receptors.

I have basically the same thing with alcohol and magnesium bisglycinate, besides a reaction to some benzos. Is your reaction right after taking the compound, or more like a rebound effect afterwards?

My reaction to glycine is immediate, or as I recall it came on over the course of several hours. I think I ended up taking 400-600mg of the conjugate. Took one or two for sleep, couldn't sleep so took more. Then after laying in bed all of a sudden it felt like I had taken a stimulant and was wide awake.

It had me fucked up for a good 2-3 days. I recall the anxiety, agitation and insomnia peaking on the second day.

I been offered one called midozolam 7.5 mg but expensive is it worth or just stick with diazepam Xanax etc? Any advice

The interpretation that this was a glutamatergic rebound through NMDA makes sense, I have also considered this in my case, but I ended up noticing that my brain was actually counterbalancing the decrease in signaling mediated by magnesium. I have tried many forms of magnesium, and all had the same effect, so I eliminated the hypothesis that glycine was to blame
 
Picked up a gram of ethyflualprazolam for cheap. We'll see how it goes. Also some H and coke. I'm a bad boy. Its been awhile.

Send me some lawyers, guns and money.
 
Diazepam (Valium) & Lorazepam (Ativan) reign supreme…..simply Amazing benzodiazepines

The “new” obscure benzodiazepine meds I’ve encountered lately would have to be Rilmazofone (pro-drug to Rilmazolam) and Bretazenil (partial agonist exhibiting potent anxiolytic and anticonvulsant effects) both are very effect sedatives, hypnotic, with effective anxiolytic properties

Etizolam (licensed in Japan) is obviously the best analogue ever synthesized…..with its high affinity to the a2 & a3 subunits (potent anxiolytic) while having less a1 sedation, and apparently a reduced liability to develop tolerance and dependence. Etizolam & Deschloroetizolam are both simply amazing theinotriazolodiazepines. Amazing.

Diclazepam (2-Chloro Diazepam) I can’t talk enough good about……like super Valium except metabolizing into Delorazepam (licensed in Italy) and then into Lorazepam (Ativan) adult dose for me 3mg …..it’s the Methadone on RC benzo I read once lol….very true …..taper with Diclazepam or Diazepam…..both synthasized by the same polish chemist at Roche Pharma

Avizafone (Pro-Diazepam) a water soluble pro-drug, rapidly metabolizing into Diazepam (Valium) many IM administered doses of Avizafone 50-80mg (Valium 10mg oral = Avizafone 22.5mg IM)……reaching C-max in 0.5h vs 1.5h oral Diazepam.

Mexazolam - another Japanese pro-drug (similar to Diclazepam) as it metabolizes into Delorazepam 78h and then into Lorazepam (Ativan) 12h …a VERY long acting benzodiazepine similar to Diazepam, Diclazepam, Delorazepam….all incredible Anxiolytic Benzo’s

Valium & Ativan (King Benzo’s) worth their weight in gold. Valium 40mg & Ativan 2mg
Etizolam & Deschloroetizolam - theinotriazolodiazepines/very potent anxiolytic analogs
Diclazepam & Mexazolam very long acting pro-drug benzos
Avizafone (Pro-Diazepam) water soluable injectable Valium
Rilmazofone (Rilmazolam) pro-drug effective anxiolytic & hypnotic
Bretazenil (partial GABA-A agonist) potent anxiolytic & anticonvulsant
