i wrote this as a replay on someone's post, but i wanted to make it its own post so maybe i can get more people to see it and comment. i really need help here...

the thing is, i'm experiencing more depression and anxiety than i ever have in my life. it's a stressful time right now and my living arrangement is kinda up in the air. i Just got a good job so now i can start saving up money to move to a more stable place- like my own apartment. i'm battling ovarian cancer at the same time as all this and going through chemo. so to say it's a stressful time is a HUGE understatement. but... over the last 4 or 5 months, i feel like i've lost a huge part of me.
[just to give you an idea, i was taking about 120-150mg of mgm15/day. i would usually just take the whole dose in the morning and be good all day. i was fine with kratom powder, to take it or leave it. i would take it once a day or 3 times a day, whenever i had it. but it wasn't until i switched to 7oh ,because it was a new thing in the shop and i didn't have enough to get regular extract, that i started to feel the physical addiction. as soon as i start 7oh, it all got away from me and within 1 week of using it, i was dependent. and i haven't stopped until now. and i'm REALLY struggling. it's been about 5 days since i've had mgm15. i've been taking easy septavex to ease SOME of the wd- like diarrhea, but nothing is making me feel better. i'm on edge from the time i wake up, which is too early, till the time i reluctantly close my eyes. i feel like i'm not myself. i don't enjoy anything at all. every thing is stressful and i can't relax to save my life.

if anyone has any advice, i would absolutely appreciate that and open my mind to it. please, i really need help. i am miserable.

I'm not in good shape either. But it's poly drug use for me.

Benzo, gabapentin, Lyrica, clonidine are the gold standards for opiod wd comfort. Agmatine and NAC are valuable supplements to try. But not as effective as the pharmaceuticals I mentioned.

i understand where you’re at, i’ve been on a mix of 7-oh and mgm-15 daily for a short while now, tapering myself down before it’s scheduled at the end of the month. ive used it on and off for a few months for chronic pain that i’ve been struggling to find working treatment for. i’ve had other periods of use and withdrawals from it and other opioids too. i’m not sure what you’ve got access to, but i’m rx’d baclofen and lyrica. taking some extras of those have been helpful. clonidine or similar meds has always been helpful for the sweating, palpitations, and other adrenergic symptoms of withdrawal. imodium and pepto for the GI issues, zofran is even better if you can get it, got some rx’d a bit ago for a bitch of a case of pneumonia.

if you can’t get any of the RX meds i mentioned, if you drink, good ole fashioned alcohol has helped me with opioid withdrawal. not a lot, just one or two drinks. when i cold turkey’d a 300mg/day habit of 7oh, i just bought 2 of those 8% tall boys ya see in gas stations. i’d just take a couple sips at any point thru the day for like 3 days. it didn’t take a lot to help my comfort and anxiety. obviously ideally ya dont just replace it with a drinking habit, but sipping a bits here and there was helpful. tho im not sure whether alcohol can safely be combined with your cancer meds and such. nyquil is a classic option too, DXM has been shown to help mitigate withdrawal symptoms at slightly higher than medical doses, like 60-75mg. tho if you take that much, try to get something without acetaminophen in it. nyquil and the like aren’t super high in acetaminophen but depending on frequency and dose, ya wouldn’t wanna take too much of it, tho it may help a bit with some of the rebound

if youre at day 5 or 6 now you should be getting thru the worst of it all, mgm withdrawal does seem to last a little longer than 7oh withdrawal but you should be starting to get on the upswing soon. i’ve got some chronic health issues tho so i know that withdrawal really takes it out of you more when you’ve got other issues, and i imagine cancer is no different (and probably worse, realistically.) obviously take these recommendations with a grain of salt and, if you do take any, ensure there’s no risk with any of your current meds or cancer treatment. i’m really sorry that you’re going thru this. like i said, i don’t have cancer but i have neurological issues (among other health problems) and im gonna miss having such an accessible and effective treatment for my pain. i dont agree with the decision to schedule it (tho i do feel like it needs to be a little more regulated.) i hope this helps, like i said i dont know what meds you’re on and how the things i mentioned interact so be careful with any of these suggestions. im not a doctor, just a stranger on the internet with some experience. stay safe and stay up, friend. i know it feels like absolute buns, but you should be getting thru the worse of it and seeing an upswing soon :)

Holy shit. I am sorry. I say that as someone who has been through both heavy chemo treatment and severe 7oh/pseudoindoxyl addiction. But not at the same time...

You need to stop the kratom alkaloids. I know you already know this. Look there is a way out. A combination of suboxone and adderall made it painless for me. Without adderall it sucks but its still doable.

The cycle of 7oh/pseudo/mgm addiction and withdrawal is awful.

I'm not sure I understand the question? Are you trying to extract kratom to make your own 7 etc?? I feel thats kind of a bad solution to your problem. As someone who has done both extract/isolate MIT and convert to 7, I am definitely grateful I never developed a serious problem with it, because then I would just make my own and be addicted for life :(

i'm not trying to make anything. i'm trying to get off the stuff.

Hi Lexxbell, I was gonna make a post asking if anyone mixes 7oh & Mgm 15 together...which is sounds like you do? I haven't mixed before & didn't know if it was ok or really dangerous? This is why I had idea of mixing...I've been on 7oh for couple of months now. Started out taking 1/4 of 20mg which was great but we all know 7oh doesn't last long, you have to redose often & tolerance builds up fast so now instead of taking 20mg total in a day, I'm at about 30 or 40. Sometimes it hits good & other times I can tell I've got too much in my system because it just makes me super tired which is the opposite of why I liked it to begin with. I like the uplifting & happy feeling with energy. I don't like being sedated or tired. When buying recently before the ban kicks in, I thought I would order some mgm 15 to try it, but then started reading all these horror stories about how much stronger it is & how horrible the withdrawals are for both 7oh & especially mgm. Gonna try tapering off a little on the 7oh so my thought was: Take a little 7oh to get the quick hit & feeling I like but add a little mgm at the same time so that maybe the combo will make it last longer without redosing. If you have any feedback of your experience with mixing, I'd appreciate it. Was does mgm feel like? I like the initial feeling of the 7oh but man it's gone so soon. When I broke my shoulder i was on low dose 5mg of Percocet, loved it & it would last all day.

well the products i usually buy from my local smoke shop, their lab reports contain 7-OH, regular MIT, and MGM-15. i would struggle to really differentiate them, as i’ve never taken them separately. but that being said, i can tell a difference between my usual product and regular 7-OH products.

the stuff with MGM does tend to have longer legs, part of the effects lasting longer. the difference in feeling and effects is pretty minimal. regular 7-OH just tends to not be as strong. both MGM-15 and 7-OH are partial opioid agonists, 7-OH being roughly 50% and (while i’m not sure of an exact figure) MGM is speculated to be around 70-80%. painkillers like oxycodone, morphine, etc are full opioid agonists.

naturally given the stronger effects of MGM-15, it has stronger withdrawals as well. personally i think 7-OH and MGM-15’s withdrawal stories are overhyped. ya gotta understand that a lot of people sharing these stories have never dealt with more withdrawal than a caffeine headache. MGM-15 has a long half life, so withdrawals are longer than 7-OH’s (15hr and 2-5hr respectively.) in terms of effects they aren’t much different, MGM is just stronger. sometimes if i just take a 7OH product i can tell its a bit weaker and, depending on the product (and if it’s accurately dosed) it doesn’t always cut it.

the urge to redose is still there (at least for me and my highly compulsive and addictive personality.) but moral of the story is MGM is basically the same shit, it’s just stronger and lasts longer. it’s withdrawal is like any other opioid, but due to its longer lasting effects and half life, as well as it’s higher potency for the opioid receptors, its withdrawals are stronger and longer lasting. imo withdrawals from 7oh are wayyy overblown, i cold turkey’d 300mg of 7 daily. felt restless, sweaty, and struggled to sleep for a couple days and that was it. maybe it’s cause ive gone thru benzo and oxy withdrawals before but. its overhyped

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. Ok so I've been on 7oh for a couple of months & I love them cuz they give my such an "up" feeling. Some energy, good mood, talkative & I don't know it it's "euphoria" but just the feeling like everything's cool & just feeling happy. But very short lived. I'm on a smaller dose I guess...40mg & I stack 20 in the morning & then stack again 20mg later in afternoon. I get them from a very reputable place & they're not the disgusting stuff from the gas station. From the same place I ordered some MGM. Was scared of it, but wanted to try to add a little to my 7oh to make it last longer. So couple mornings ago I did my 20 stack & then just a small sliver off the MGM & it knocked my ass out!!! I slept for 10 hours straight & couldn't keep my eyes open & it was horrible. I don't like downers, or stuff that knocks me out. I need more uplifted mood. Percocet always gave me tons of energy & put me in a good mood too. When I want to relax & just feel chill I drink some Kratom to just get that warm, relaxed feeling. I know different stuff works different for different people but is MGM supposed to speed people out? I read that some get sped out for the whole day & others take it right before bed so I was confused on what it's actually supposed to do. Now if I do too much of the 7oh & go above my normal stack, it will make me really tired but if I keep it at the lower sweet spot it's great. The strongest opiate type drug I've ever taken is Percocet...not hard drugs at all. Some people take percocet cuz it brings them down & sleepy, but for me it was a great mood booster & lasted longer than 7oh. I had horrible Perc withdrawals when I stopped & also horrible Xanax withdrawals before & OMG it was torture so I guess that's why I;m so scared of that happening with this stuff too. I should've never tried them at all, but we've all said that before LOL So when you take them, they make you tired & chill or feel uplifted & happy?

i mean at this point i don’t notice much of a mood difference, tends to give me different effects depending when i take it. i mostly take it for pain relief tho, ive got neurological issues and a bunch of shit wrong with my spine (herniated discs, stenosis, etc.) ig it tends to chill me out more but more than anything it just relieves my pain. if i take it and wanna get stuff done it helps with that, gives me energy since im not in severe pain. if i wanna sleep it helps there since im not in pain. if i take too much i can get that sluggish feeling. but above anything else its just pain relief for me. i stopped getting any noticeable mood effect or high early on. i’m gonna miss the easily accessible pain relief. only issue ive ever had with it is it gets a lil pricey but not being in pain makes it easier for me to work so.

Yeah I understand that. I've got 6 bulging discs with that horrible shooting pain that goes down your legs into your feet as I'm sure you have all the time. I had to get epidural injections for them before. I didn't take these for the purpose of pain but was quick to realize how much pain I was actually just used to living with once I started taking these. Now I actually know what it feels like not to have that pain in my back & legs. I just got used to it & just taking Advil a hundred times a day. What are you gonna do after the ban? The whole ban is ridiculous & this has honestly been helping people that are in horrible pain. I've been stocking up & the place I get them from is selling until the 4th but a person can only afford to stock up so much. The price is worth it when I compared the product I ordered compared to gas station product. Huge difference. Gas station products are much thicker (with what fillers?) & they crumble, are kinda soft & easy to cut. Ones I get are very thin, flat & hard so you know all that's in them is what's supposed to be. So yeah, that's worth the price when you're buying normally, but like I said, a person can only afford to stock up so much & then we're all gonna have to deal with that "last dose" day ahead. I feel for you because it sounds like you seriously need them & hopefully enough people wrote letters & petitioned. Do you have a solution for the withdrawals that will happen? Any special remedy that helps? Thanks for all your help & I wish you all the best
