OxyNorm vs OxyContin

I've been wondering what the deal is with these OxyNorm capsules? OxyContin has been on my list of drugs to try for a little while, but is expensive, generally hard to find and often they are fakes in the UK anyway.

I can get a hold of these legit 10mg OxyNorm caps at **some pounds** a shot. Anyone know how it would compare to doing OxyContin? As far as I can gather the OxyNorm are just instant release. My guy tells me he just empties the capsule out and hoovers it up, comes on far quicker than OC would.

Just wondering if any bluelighters have any experiance or input to this?

Yup they would come on much quicker and likely be more intense.

Cheers monsta, that's what I was hoping. Are they any less sickly feeling than DHC you reckon? I like the actual high but they make me feel a bit spewy for the level of euphoria I actually get off them. Probably less dangerous than OC aswell as I'll know if I need to redose or not much sooner I'm guessing.

Sorry btw is price discussion not allowed in EADD anymore?
 
Ah, this is where I come in. ;)

I'm not a sniffer, but if you are then Oxynorm caps are obviously better. None of that waxy binding stuff, no need to put in a flyer and smash 'em up and no time-release if you just want to swallow like me (ahem).

Aside from that, it's just oxycodone. It won't necessarily be that much more intense than a well-crushed 'contin, but will come on slightly quicker.

I'm also jealous - I had a great source this time last year for the 'contins but he's gone underground. One of my favourite drugs in the world. Beats most street heroin easily.

Less sickly than DHC? For me, yes.

Just be aware that your tolerance will rocket with this stuff. It's notorious for doing so. As you probably know if you've got experience with the 'contins.

I got a hold of about 65mg worth of 5mg OxyNorm IR capsules. I have a slowly decreasing opiate tolerance so the only way I'd feel 65mg oxycodone is to IV. So I had to use a lot of water and bigger barrel but the powder is very easy to work with. 20-30mg IR capsules would be heaven for opiate users.

I have no previous experience with oxycodone but a fair bit with heroin and methadone. My tolerance is about 40mg methadone/day. I'd say I got at least 50mg out of the capsules as I was too lazy to do a proper chem extraction/filter/evaporate/etc. I did feel the shot but it wasn't enough for a decent rush. I think an OC80 or two would do the job for me, but I'd take things very easy to avoid OD.

If you haven't much opiate tolerance the 10mg capsules will be PERFECT for you to sniff. If you are opiate-naive sniff a capsule every 30 mins or so to safely get to the level you want to be at. If you know the dose you want to take I would suggest dissolving it in water and putting it up your bum (no real need to filter if you're concerned about losing mgs). I can't and won't advise IV as this is a harm-reduction website and IV usecan have lots more associated risks than just OD.
 
I've just been told by the guy that when he does them he sniffs them because they hit him quicker. I assume a better absorption rate through sniffing aswell?

I've also never done OxyContin, although I've had the chance a couple of times. I've been told most of the 80's on offer in the UK are usually fake and I was more into my uppers and benzo's back then.

Is it best to space out use quite alot then? And any idea of the half-life? I get drugs tests every couple of weeks at the moment so it's handy to know when's best to stop.

Also what's it like in terms of euphoria? That's usually my number one criteria for why I'm using the drug. That or drugs that give you a kind of learning experiance and positive feeling after (why I like ketamine, phenylamines etc).

Also after is it groggy like DHC?

ahh to have a contact for these again, would be a good/bad thing, these things are the nicest but they come at a cost and i dont just mean the price, addiction hurts with these ones! i've always bought the 40mg contins and would break em in half, neck half then crush the other and snort, heaven for a good 5/6 hours! and no nausea like with dhc, but be warned oxy n vallie forms such a comfy spiral of destruction! lol
 
What is this OxyNorm? Do you guys in the UK not have regular Oxycodone 30mg IR pills, or is it all capsules?

The BA's actually lower through sniffing, but it comes on quicker and gives a semi-rush. Hence why people like to do so. IMO it's not worth it, but I'm in the minority.

It makes most people more energetic than the likes of DHC, being a thebaine derivative. It will make you nod though.

Euphoria? That word just ain't strong enough. It's lovely.

JWallace - Oxynorm is instant-release capsules, yeah. Sadly we don't get the 30mg IR ones, but the European (NAPP, Mundipharma) 'contins are the old formula. ;)

This post was probably good for me to read as I am also a bit of a cainer, I can imagine we use/abuse in similar fashion going by what I've read. Have you ever had the OxyNorm capsules then? I assume you had a tollerance when you were doing 40mg oral and then 40mg up the hooter?

I can imagine it does form such a comfy spiral of destruction. To make matters more dangerous the guy has a pretty crazy list of benzos too. I've decided on 10 of the 10mg Oxynorms and a few Onex 2mg bars of Xanax too, should make for an intresting combo ;)

We do, OxyContin 20's, 40's and 80's. I'd hazzard a guess that alot of them come from the US in the first place though to be honest.

never tried the norms but heard good things, i would get the orange 40's, used to buy a guys script everyweek lol so i woulda been doing 40 up nose then 40 down the hatch an hour or so in, do that every few days and a rattle is bound to happen, but that was after a bottle of 56 120xr dhcs was consumed in less then a week..big cainer isn't the word :\ lol but yeah from what i've read you seem to have that same fiendishness as me lol

Nope. Most of it comes from here! ONLY buy blistered EU versions (NAPP or Mundipharma).

Don't trust anything loose, especially 80s. They've been found to either be inactive or contain codeine and in some cases fentanyl. They're widely-faked, but as the EU market's so small I don't think the counterfeiters could turn a profit faking the European ones.

I'm looking at an empty Oxynorm blister from a while back just now... oh dear. My heart is broken. :)
 
Sorry I'm no expert on the subject I just know the guy who I previously used to buy my benzos off was importing them from the US.

Yeah that's why I never tried the 80's before, they were cheap at £15 a go but the guy selling them said he was going to return them as he wasn't happy.

I'm surprised there's not a bigger market to be honest if they're as euphoric as people say. Oxy's seem to be a drug of choice over in the US, it's a bit like how they have a massive methamp scene over there yet it never really kicked off here.

What are Roxis? And yeah I'll be going easy first time I'll just sniff one see what happens. I seem to have a natural high tollerance to most things before I even start usually though.

To be honest it is strange to think that drugs like Oxy's haven't taken off more, especially with the H drought. I guess expensive if you have that much of a tollerance though. Still euphoric, same as methamp it's still a wonder there's not more of it in the UK.
 
Roxi's are short for Roxicodone. If I'm not mistaken, it's a form of Oxycodone with Morphine in the formula as well.
