Hydro would never show herself so she's out... If she would, you're probably right.

Not a lot my friend. Enjoying having a minute to myself for the first time in 2 weeks. Off work til next saturday thank christ, havent been this busy in ages its mental. Time to explore my new home.

Several things I have found curious about this forum since I started hanging around here...

1. Someone (most of the time a noob) will post something to the effect of "how can I get high off this or that substance, etc..." This inquiry is immediately met with a very blunt and tactless "We're not here to tell you how to get high, this is a harm reduction forum, thread closed!" delivered by an experienced moderator who is almost definitely high him/herself. Curiously, if the post were worded a little differently - for instance "I'm gonna shoot dope for the first time, which vein do I use?" By contrast, this inquiry would be met my a myriad of different responses all intended to guide the hapless OP to eventual stoned bliss.

Moral of the Story: The difference in vocabulary and context makes all the difference in obtaining a positive reply to a drug related question around these parts.

And please don't misunderstand - I don't intend for this post to be a slam on the mods or anyone else, it's just a passive observation so please pause briefly before slamming that flame button down. =D
 
^ nope. The latter scenario includes helping someone stay safe and reduce harm. If someone doesn't know, shooting into an artery, etc. can be VERY dangerous.

Alternatively, if someone is asking "Yo, should I try these ivory wave bath saltz or get some K2, man?" where is the harm reduction? People are going to get high so we try to make sure they don't lose a limb or kill themselves in the process but we're not here to help people get as high as possible.

You're not paying attention if you think the distinction between what is permitted and what is not is predicated upon 'vocabulary' and not harm reduction value.

WD, people are gonna get high, and due to our ridiculous drugs education and drugs policy in general, it's pretty much impossible for them to find out how to stay safe.. we don't judge 'em for wanting to get high (I don't think anyone on this site could without being a total hypocrite) we just want them to be as safe as possible. Minimising harm/harm reduction. Where as there there is not just an absence of HR but actual harm in answering questions like "how can I get high off this random pill I found"... if I'm ever unsure about whether to leave a thread open or not, I think about whether it has HR value.

We don't mean to be blunt, but when you close as many threads a day as we do all saying similar things you kinda develop a stock answer ;) people are always welcome to pm us if they have any queries :)
