Opioids Help with Fentanyl Patch?

I know i shouldnt be into this stuff, but i'm 17, i'm 5'5 110 lbs. I smoke weed once a week or so, i have been doing percs and vics for over a year. Only when i can find them. So i have a little expierience with them. I get high with around 15mg of oxycodone. So, how does the fent patch work? i'm getting it today and would it get me high? if so how long? How to be safe about this? It's 25 mcg.
 
You aren't opiate tolerant enough to be using a fentanyl patch.

The only way you could safely use this is to liquid measure - but overall I still think that it could be dangerous if you aren't very good with math or whatever.

Have you used the search engine, or the OD Directory? There's a lot of information out there about fentanyl patches.
 
I agree. I don't believe you are opiate tolerant enough either.

But I'm sure you will go ahead and use the patch anyway. So the best thing to do would be(if a sticker patch, no gel) to cut in half or so and stick that on. It takes a while to kick in. But don't do anything stupid and try to smoke or eat it.

This is just my advice. Just trying to help.
 
I know it seems like the safest way but I really think wearing a patch is actually more dangerous for some one who has such a small tolerance.

Putting the patch on your skin makes it almost impossible to titrate the dose and by the time you start feeling the patch kicking in and if it is too strong it is probably too late as a good portion of the drug has already been deposited into your body but is not in your blood yet.

I would say the OP should just stay away from the patch but if they are dead set on using it they should cut it into 8ths and use the pieces sublingually. This way once they start to feel it they can take the piece out.
 
Fentanyl will most likely make you extremely ill, if it doesn't kill you. You have a low body weight, and a low opiate tolerance. Sounds like an OD waiting to happen. Stay away from it, IMO.

The best way to use the patches is just to use them as they were meant to be, but as ONandOFF said, you won't really be able to gauge your dose as it takes several hours for the patch to kick in, and by that time a bunch of fentanyl will be in your skin already. If you're set on this, do as he suggested and cut the patch up into 8ths and use them buccally/sublingually.

The best advice we can give you is to avoid it like the plague.

Incidentally, I like Captain Heroin's liquid idea...never tried that.

Fentanyl can be used safely with people without any opiate tolerance, or low opiate tolerance, but most likely will always take place in a medical setting.

Most people are not used to having to calculate drug dosages in the micrograms or lower range.
 
I have attempted the liquid fent idea. It worked with the sticker and gel as fentanyl is alcohol soluble. I was using pure ethanol alcohol.

But jfresh, I don't recommend this to any opiate naive people, as it is too hard to try and measure without the proper tools.
 
I weigh about 145, and I'm 6'2. I once took a 50mcg Fentanyl patch, cut it in half and stuck it in my mouth on my gums. I got pretty high, but it made me feel kinda sick. I was pretty Opiate tolerant at the time, I was doing 150mg of Oxycodone a day, and stopped for a few weeks before doing the patch.

I don't recommend anyone do that however.

And now that I think about it...that was probably a bad idea.

I have your tolerance with hydrocodone & oxycodone & have had plenty of times to try 50mcgs of Fentanyl patches with the gel but I just wont do it because of how dangerous it is & I dont want to increase my tolerance by so much. I have tried Morphine as well but still consider myself opiate naive.

Bottom line everyone in this thread that gave you advice knows what they are talking about & it looks like you will be playing with fire. We know you wanna get high & Fentanyl happened to be the next thing you got your hands on but try something lighter.......if you enjoyed oxycodone, stick with that.
 
I don't think you should even go NEAR that stuff unless you know what you're doing. I've had a friend die because he thought he was invincible and stuck two 100mcg/hr patches on him and smoked some of it too to make it kick in faster i assume. I'd wait until you're at least a bit older because you seem pretty young (Not judging) to be doing something so strong and fatal. Fent isn't something to fuck around with.

If you do decide to use this, make sure you have a "babysitter" with you. Make sure they know the name of the drug that you are using in-case they need to call the paramedics. Do you really want to use a drug that you need to take so many precautions with though? Most people find fentanyl to be one of, if not the least euphoric opiate.
 
Yeah seriously dude listen to everyone on here. And Im not here to judge but you sound ALOT like myself around your age....by the time I was 20 I was stomp down dope fiend needle in arm every 2 hours min.

BUT since I know I didnt listen to anyone youll probabley do the same. So if you choose to keep using opiates...deffinedley wait till your alot more tolerant. Id say once your doing about 120mg of oxycodone a day your tolerant enough...me personally...never touched feth....too scary for me.
 
what about your ethanol method,and smoking it! i have only taken fent bucull,as a matter a fact about 30 mins ago.... trynna get the hang of holding a piece of the matrix patch on my gums and cheek with out swallowing! getting better i think!
never tried smoking as it is matrix sticker! any info would be appreciated!
