so i already did a little search on google etc and i am still unsure as to something

say i do approx 5ml Isopropyl alcohol with / 5mg phenaz in solution one a day (about 4 days a week)
Orally that is (measured by oral syringe)

i usually just get the amount i want to do (2mg) and then mix that in with a shot of water
is this likely to have any long term consequences down that track?

ive heard lots of bad shit such as blindness/kidney troubles etc just from doing small amounts of rubbing alcohol

I'm not sure at such a low amount its going to dpo you any harm but it is toxix, though most people used Everclear...could be wrong on that though

is there any reason you are using isopropyl alcohol as opposed to just plain pure ethanol?
Why would you knowingly use a substance that can cause adverse affects?

-- Also, don't Benzos have a rather high oral bioavailability? Does phenazepam still fit that bill? if so, why not just eat it..

If you are taking it orally there is no advantage between the different solutions you can dissolve it in. In fact there would be only a minicule difference between just consuming the crushed up or powder pill (perhaps in some applesauce). The only reason people are always asking about dissolving benzo's (generally in nonpolar solvents) is for other ROA's (mainly nasal, sublingual/buccal, and perhaps rectal).

Have you made this mixture already? I researched a bit before I dissolved some alprazolam powder in a solvent before and decided on propylene glycol as apparently it is also used in some food products so is pretty safe to ingest, if you haven't dissolved your phenaz yet I would recommend putting it in propylene glycol instead as it is dead cheap aswell as being very safe and a good solvent for dissolving benzos.

^Mugzy said what I was gonna say. Knowing IPA can be toxic of ingested, why did you decide to go that route? There are plenty of other solvents you could have used that are not as toxic, and work just as, if not, better than IPA. You could have used everclear or another high proof alcohol. Personally, I would have used propylene glycol, since it will lst a long time, it is readily available on the interwebz, and it is much safer to consume orally, as opposed to IPA.

IPA is relatively benign in the grand scheme of things but I expect it tastes nasty. Acetone is formed by natural metabolic processes anyway.

Ethanol is a better choice but if you avoid big doses (>5ml) then IPA is fine too. Be wary, all high proof alcohols are irritants.

The problem with phenazepam is that it is active at very low doses (1mg is roughly equivalent to 10mg diazepam) - too low to easily measure accurately without some excellent scales, and even then the amount is so small that it would make things really quite tricky. Liquid dosing allows more accurate and therefore more safe dosing. As phenazepam's half-life is so long too, accidentally ingesting too much can be a huge problem - people have lost a week of their life due to this, and worse..

I agree with what everyone has said in terms of what solvent to use :)
