Can DHEA be used as an anabolic?

The OTC steriod hormone DHEA(dehydroepiandrosterone) is metabolized into androstenediol and androstenedione, which are anabolics. Can using DHEA from the nutrition stores be used to build muscle, or is it pretty much useless for bodybuilding.

its pretty useless itself but some of its analogs make decent prohormones back in the day I ran a 1ad 4ad cycle and it was fairly effective but yes by itself dhea is more likely to convert into estradiol and give you some man titties

Yeah I used DHEA for a decent amount of time. It didn't do anything.
