Television Breaking Bad

Did anybody else think that Skylar deserves an ass whipping for giving away over $600K ? Obviously she is worried about liability if the IRS gets involved in looking at her for being the bookkeeper but I don't think she has the right to take money from the stash like that. And also, when they were depicting Walt as being the most worried and unsure about his status he's ever been I failed to sympathize with him. The dude has turned into an ass, and destroying a new car shows a lot of I-don't-give-a-fuckness that's hard to understand.

I wanted to punch her in the face for that. I've always hated Skylar but lately she has been better and then she does this.

I still sympathize with Walt, he has become an entirely different person and is now alienated from almost everyone. When his son told him that the last year was what he didn't want to remember i felt sorry for Walt. Walt is now stuck and can't go back to how things were. I wonder if he had the choice to do it all again if he would have done things differently. The scene in the waiting room when Walt is talking to the guy waiting for their tests gives some insight into why he has lived the way he has but I'm not sure how Walt feels about everything lol.

its fucking awesome, i love it! its getting fucking gnarly! everyone i know watches it. my one friend who i grab stuff from sometimes its like if you want anything, you better arrange it either before the show starts or after. its fucking halrious, but thats the rule.

I feel like there setting up Jesse and Walt to be enemies

Last nights episode was awesome though

It's been building to that point for a while.

Walt is evil, but sees himself as good. No guilt for asking Jesse to kill for him. Looks down on Jesse.

Jesse is good, thinks he's evil, feels guilty about killing. Calls Walt Mr. White.

They are opposites, and somehow people like Walt, even though he is a terrible person.

I don't even know why it's questionable that Walt is a bad person. Yes, he cares about his kids but otherwise I don't see any redeeming qualities...
actually very arguable why his a good person..
A true person lives for one reason, to care for their family and friends right?
He realises his gonna die soon, so he may aswell provide for them..
I'd hate to say, but would you try do the same?
I know i would.

^ I agree. Walt is an inherently good person, but after seeing what things are like in the drug underworld, he has realized what he needs to do in order to survive. Survival of the fittest - of course he is going to do what's best for him even if it means hurting others. I also feel that while seeking his financial goal, his family has fallen to the way side even though they are the ones he is ultimately trying to protect.

I think Walt is a little butt hurt that Jesse has excelled out of the addict/junkie/sidekick that he has been for several seasons. It will be interesting to see what becomes of him now that he has saved Gus and Mike from demise.

As far as having Jesse kill for him, I don't think it really has anything to do with Jesse, Walt just knows he won't have an opportunity to be face to face with Gus after the whole Hank ordeal, so he needs Jesse to make that move.

Um, well the person who plays Walt think he's a bad person so I'd go with that. And no, I wouldn't do what Walt's doing. Tons of people die of cancer without killing off other people along the way (and still figure out a way to pay for college).

Walt and Jesse are both unlikeable most of the time. Ever since season one when Walt practically tried to rape his own wife in the kitchen I haven't been a fan and he's very unrelateable in the sense he's not a guy I'd hang out with. Thaz why this show is so compelling to me, I don't care about what happens to these characters but the story line keeps me drawn in. This is one of the few shows that progressively gets better every episode every season.

Yeah and now Jesse can produce the same quality meth as Walt and Gus knows that, but Walt doesn't; yet.
That's going to really piss him off and I bet Walt will eventually reveal that he pretty much let Jane die

Oh and also, I can't believe Skyler gave Ted 600k, that's going to create a huge shit storm

Well, first off the show is about 'breaking bad'. Although i still think he done everything for the right reasons, put yourself in his sitch? I don't literally mean do exactly what his doing in real life lol, thats super hardcore. But Its a TV SHOW.
The decisions he made in the show i think, are perfectly fine.
I'm just looking at him as a PERSON and no, i do not think he is 'bad'.
Tuco and all the others are 'bad'. Hope i made sense. Lol.

@bill, Thanks for ruining it for me lol. but wow she gave ted 600k of Walts money. I wouldnt be too happy if that was me..

She did it to protect herself. If Ted didn't pay the fines, which he obviously doesn't have any intention of doing, they would have been audited and her name is all over those cooked books. Now that she is running the carwash that really is laundering money and reporting false earnings, with money that comes from her husbands illegal meth manufacturing job, I can see why she did it. Ted Beneke is a moron though, I have never liked his character.

Her plan backfired though, because now she's out the 600K and he's still not going to pay the fine :\ It will be interesting to see what she does to try and force him to pay the fine.

He's really a pointless character IMO. Until recently with this tax audit, he's been nothing more than a tangent story line to evolve Skyler's character.
