Its on a movie site I used, checked the first 10minutes of it or so but seemed cheesey as fuck so I knocked it off. 100% B movie.

Someone said they were gonna make a The Business but set in the 90s, I don't usually like sequels because reckon they spoil the originalbut something along them lines would've been good

Also probally been mentioned but saw Dead Mans Shoes again the other night is a filing class film the trailer does it no justice

That's my kind of film aswell mate but Weekender even the trailer looks shite. Brittish films are usually top dog because the one liners are generally better in gangster/drug movies. The best film I've seen recently was Brooklyns Finest there are a few classic american gangster/drug movies too.

I've got The Guard, Elephant White, and the new Pirates of the Carribean on download right now.

if you havent already seen it [cant be arsed to read the whole thread] .. then you'll like london boulevard, based on what you just wrote

its got all the brit gangster guy classics in it from snatch/lock-stock etc .. and ray winstone being uber hard and looking dashing in a pair of reggie kray specs

oh, and david thewlis is in it ... very underused so its good to see him. [if you havent already, watch him in Naked. its fucking depressing but one of my faves, and his character is sad/scary as fuck .. great script too]
 
I've already seen it, it's decent but took me a while getting my head round Colin Farrel playing a London gangster. Worth watching though.

Got The Guard for later, it does actually look like it's going to be good. Might watch the new pirates just now...Daytime TV is cancer as Evad once said! :)
 
Spun is decent like. It's what made me want to try methamphetamine, well that and posts on here lol.

The Guard was decent like, few of the one liners in it are class. Different from the standard hollywood crap anyway.

Mattnotrik it was more all the stuff about how euphoric it was I read on here but Spun had already planted the seed. In terms of a euphoric stimulant it's up there but the comedown is like having your soul extracted for a few days. Takes some earning back too. Worth trying once for the rush.

You should get the film easy off isohunt or piratebay surely it's been out for years!
 
I've got a copy of that myself. Looks decent might watch it later on. Saw the new Saw (although I've not seen any of the rest of them) with my bird and her mate last week it was decent aswell even if I was semi out of my head and didn't understand most of it.

Watched Kingdom of Heaven on Film4 last night, goes on for 4 hours which some people would find a bit long, but I enjoyed it. About the religious crusades of the 12th century, christians versus arabs, fighting over Jerusalem.
 
Does anyone know of any good gangster movies like Brooklyns Finest type New York gangster/drug/crime kind of films? Saw The Town recently too thought that was pretty decent aswell, something along those kind of lines. Need a couple for later so I don't die of boredom.
 
I didn't rate Eastern Promises much man, switched it off actually I think. Animal Kingdom as well worth watching, I'd recommend that myself.

I agree I usually don't like Ben Affleck much either but I've watched The Town twice lol.
