(Sydney) DefQon September 2011

Certainly am a stomper :) wouldn't trade the brisbane stomp for anything..

If you spy a platinum blonde in black and green with the brissy group come say hi!

Will do! If you see a 'fun sized' kid who looks like hes not allowed to an 18+ event, in a borrowed pair of phats who cant yet dance properly, say hi! And Jeez im sure you know most of my friends then8(.

Oh and I will stick a sign to my back "Ashstorm, show yourself!" =D

I know someone in Brisbane with a few spare tickets (2 normal, 1 VIP, but they're only selling 2 of the 3) selling them at cost price (140/210). anyone pm me if interested :)

Hope everyone going has a great time! :D

That pic from promo poster for this year but showing last years stage. Did the same thing last year. Showed 2009 stage on 2010 poster.

Really enjoyed Josh Lang, Karpe DM and Toneshifterz sets. Spent some time at the green stage which was a good place to chill which was what I needed at the time. Thought the end show was better last year but still an awesome way to finish the day. Good to catch up with a few other BL's as well.

The blue tent was damn hot inside which wasnt ideal but cant control the weather can you.

Overall still an awesome day and will be back for my fourth one next year but hope the amount of muzzas drops. The festival seems to be a lot more mainstream than what it was when it started and believe this has taken away a little bit of the magic of the event. Or maybe I am just becoming more jaded. LOL

Got to see first hand how the sniffer dog works but had nothing on me so all good.

Wow is all I can say. That was my first rave and first real festival=D

I was just stunned at how much of a sensory overload it was. Im sure the hefty amounts goodies partaken helped alot too%)

Twas a beautiful day and a mad birth into the rave scene. Chilling with the brisbane stomp crew was the only place Id be there<3
Only downside was.. And No offence to anyone, but the MAJORITYthere seem to me as a MAJOR society problem. Roids, testosterone, and attitude problems seemed to take away the charm of the anticipated atmosphere raves usually hold. But I didnt really see many problems arise it was just the vibe. So Im with you on your points there sir pacman, but I dont think it will change by next year8(

DRUG charges, heat illness and an assault marred an otherwise peaceful Defqon dance music festival in Penrith on Saturday.

About 18,500 people attended the festival at the Sydney International Regatta Centre, where local police and the Dog Squad monitored the behaviour of festival goers.

During the day police conducted 550 person searches, with 81 people issued with court attendance notices for drug possession, mainly for ecstasy and cocaine.

Another 14 people were caught driving under the influence of drugs.

Six people were arrested and charged with supplying a prohibited drug while one person was charged with assaulting police.

More than 250 people received medical treatment for drug and heat-related illnesses as the temperature soared above 30C.

Thirty people were ejected from the festival for intoxicated or anti-social behaviour.
