Couldn't roll after 8 months?

I used to roll quite constantly after starting a year ago. The last time i rolled before last night though was in January. I took the pill expecting to get hit extremely hard due to the long wait and lack of tolerance (which i never had that high of anyway). My friend had tested these pills at a rave recently (although hes extremely new to rolling) and it was his second time doing so. He told me they were amazing and that I'd probably roll off one which i agreed on, since it had been so long.

I had to take care of this extremely drunk girl which might have been the problem but even before she got super wasted i wasn't rolling. Does taking care of other people make you not roll or what else could it have been?
 
I posted on a similiar thread tonight in other drugs forum - I have found with meth (but also with MDMA) that my tolerance has never left me, even if i don't use for 6+ months. I used a mountain of meth and mdma for about 3 years non stop in the late nineties. And some of the magic has gone too from both drugs, although i still love all stimulants to bits. These days i need to double drop a good (lets say maybe 80mg) pill, or tripple drop a low quality (50mg) pill to really get a good roll. So my dose is now up around 150mgs for a good roll. Its frustrating and expensive!! What makes it even worse is lack of MDMA pills in my particular area. Argh!
 
so you need 160mg MDMA to roll, thats not much higher than a regular/"standard" dose and hell in europe lots of pills got more than that much MDMA in each pill.....
seems people forget when E was legal doses were generally 130mg or around that i'm pretty sure and not 60-80mg...
DEA considers a dosage unit of MDMA to be 140mg.

I might have to keep this in mind from now on...
I always get like that on MDMA, i feel kind of bad for others now ...
(well i can still stand somehow)
 
In my area (South Eastern Australia) the highest potency i've come across in more than 10 years was approx around 100mg - thats just an estimate though. The stronger pills imported just get crushed and re-pressed at a lower dosage locally. MDMA powder is now pretty much more popular because there are just so many bunk pills on the market here. I also spent a while in UK and most of their pills were pathetically weak too in my experience, around the 50-60mg mark, but they were so cheap it didn't really matter. My info is that there is a global shortage of MDMA due to the precursors being made harder and harder to obtain.
 
Mindset is pretty important to properly enjoy MDMA. Having a drunk person on your hands and dropping what could potentially have been a relatively weak pill could have made the overall experience less than pleasant.

Did you not feel anything at all or were you simply not at the point where you wanted to be?

there's not necessarily a shortage, holland appears to have better pills atm than anywhere ever did while it was illegal i'd think..more like people wanting to make money at the complete expense of their customers.
Europe seems to have proper pills or at least most MDMA pills have a decent amount in them but everywhere else the quality expectations are way lower...if people would STOP buying pressed pills period, or ones that aren't only MDMA no speed no active cuts the profit potential of selling fake shit would go way down. The reason europe seems to not have near the issues america or aus seems to be that people dont consider any pill that's got MDMA in it to be worth paying for and taking, or at least on PR US MDMA high is 80-90mg at best when PR europe MDMA high is 150mg+...
its not that there's not enough to go around i dont think, its that the dealers think/know that their customers are expendable because a good number of "ecstasy" users will take whatever they can get that is sold as ecstasy, and not knowing that even proper pills are underdosed far too much imo to save money..and even when pills with good amounts of MDMA (look at the PR thing in NA for qdances...) people dont take enough for seemingly no reason...

well the chick i had to babysit got all depressed and antisocial for some reason?
i dont mind watching people who are faced, thats actually kind fun tbh hahaha

I find I am the same way. MDMA tolerance seems to rebuild quicker than regular amphetamine tolerance for me. I believe a big cause of "loss of magic" is in reality, "loss of MDMA" in other words, these people are being sold different MD substances. Less Euphoria and empathy.
