Injecting crystal methamphetamine

I need some advice. Been injecting meth for about 3-4 months now and recently I have not been able too. My hands are shaky. They were a little shaky but was always able to take a feel breath and get a hit. Now, it's like I can not even get the tip in without at least 1 finger starting to not my hand. Only thing I can think of is the las time I shot I missed and it didn't feel the best. I mean. I haven't gotten a hit in in 3 days so my veins should be well plus I have big veins too. All over my arms are plenty of plump one b it I can not get a hit. Even when I I think I am in a vein I can not register. It's like it's just suctioning my skin in.

Any one have any ideas on how to kick these shakes and why I can't register? Or even get air in that case? Helppp :)
 
maybe you could smoke a few hits to calm yourself first? that would remove the shakes...

... Completely agree. I was under the impression the shaking was due to the fact of a lack of meth, and is starting to experience mild/moderate withdrawals (Hence the reason he is preparing to shoot up again)
 
If you are certain your veins are not shot out, There are a couple things that have helped in my experience. Taking a half a benedryl(more makes me feel like gravity is stronger, kinda the opposite effect of what I want in using a stimulant) and giving it around an hour to kick in. Its a potent anticholinergic as well. Sedating and Depressing effects, however 12.5 mg for me has helped my body slow way down when in need. Deep and controlled breaths...This helps to an extent by activating your Parasympathetic Nervous System, where as shaking, excitement, etc is the Sympathetic.
Warm water from a shower. This one helps a lot and fast. Within 5 minutes the muscles should be lessm constricted and calm. Also, if your diet is lacking, try eating a well balanced meal with multi v. Shakiness could possibly be a symptom of malnutrition.
 
Thanks everyone. I have tried the smoking but doesn't work. I doesnt use as much as I used to so don't think it's too much right now, maybe when I was first starting. I would hit every shot with no problem but now I won't be able to stay steady unless I have already had success with a shot or too. It's like when I missed a shot I fekt how bad it hurts and I get way nervous that it will happen again.

I will def try the benedryl idea. Thought about that tonight actually and was wondering about adverse affects. I will read up on it n see. As to malnutrition. I eat while on it even after a shot. Maybe not right after but def eats and I eat healthy too Fruits veggies chicken Etc. Any other suggestions?

Chrystian, why did you use SWIM in your second post when you didn't in your first? We don't swim here, it won't offer you any protection and just makes things hard to read..

It might not seem like you are having too much, but if you are having stim-induced shakiness which is causing you to miss shots, then your use is causing you harm. To me this means it is too much, and I think you need to consider how much of a problem meth is for you - continuing to use despite evidence of harm is one of the criteria for addiction..

Generally looking after yourself is a good idea, so baths and good nutrition is important, but you are almost definitely shaky because of sympathetic nervous system overdrive (fight or flight part of the nervous system, ramped up by the meth) and the only sensible way to stop it is to cut down on the stimulants..

Are you rotating your veins and using fresh needles? Blunt needles could cause you to fail to register when you previousy could..
 
Sorry for the "swim" wasn't sure and decency I am lucky to get a shot a day. It's been 2 days sucks I have had one. I take plenty of showers and eat regulary. Well at least 4 times a day. Good food with veggies and fruit. As for equipment at most I use it 2x but my question is if I dont register and that happens a couple times should I rotae equipment? I'm guessing so. If I don hot after 3-4 time I switch what you think?
 
Don't worry about the swim, other forums use it but we don't for the reasons I mentioned :)

You definitely should change needles if you don't manage to register - they very quickly become blunt and do a lot more damage to your veins when they are not fresh.

I seem to post this picture up somewhere on here about once a month, but it illustrates why a fresh needle is so important..

Oh wow those look nasty lol. @ Effie I haven't had any in 3 days now as I don't see a point in doing it any other way really cause the high isn't a high anymore. Before the the shakes came along there was 4 shots maybe 5 a day. So right now is the cleanest it's been for a while now.


I have and always have had a high tolerance to everythif. And most times what tame one person to get high I would need double. Sucks makes things expeensive
Another question. How long will re dose stay good inside equip
Ent? Like I said it's seat 3 with no luck and I've re made it once so this hit has well tries to use for two days now? I figure I should just pour it out or something Amd I use distiller water but everyone says sterile solution is the best? Ate we talkig about th stere solution that u clean your contacts with?? I've looked everywhere and thus the only kind I see. Helpppp I bought some buy afraid to use it yet

Can you inject meth that's been smoked in a glass pipe?? This is Something I have not ever heard anybody doing before. I need to know ASAP. Thanks guys. :)
 
Sony quote me I believe you can or I read somewhere that it is possible although I would advise not to ni mean think about it. #1 your putting poison in you with it being in regular, un used shot form (and I am not hatin I do it too) but now you are burning it and who know what is in he pipe to begin with. And your going to put that directly in your veins?!? Not so much. Infection. Infection. Death. Jus saying. Happy shooting :)
 
Haha I thought the same thing. I'm smoking it right now. Just made myself sound desperate. That shows why its never good to move up the ladder to stabbin darts. Nothing else satisfies you. I remember back in my hotline days I wish I stayed to that. But its all good. Thanks for the help... Welpp be safe and let the haters hate. :D

it's hard to sustain a meth habit for very long when you're doing excess amounts and up to 5 shots a day. priorities get thrown around and a lot of time is spent exhaustively on the wrong things. it's no wonder you're hands are shaking uncontrollably; you're likely dehydrated, malnourished and a little sleep to deprived too?

it's probably a little late now but throw that shot out asap, there's a great risk of bacteria growth within the shot, with the tip of he needle looking like those pics effie put up. if you haven't prepared your shot using bacteriostatic water and a preservative for storage in a proper vial for use over time you're risking your life putting that into your veins after days without proper preparation and refrigerated cooling.
 
Thanks for the info, I am happy to say that I have been successful in my shots today, well yesterday since it is 530am now. As to the malnutrition and deyhadration, I would hope that I am not either or not bad since I do drink out 4 gatorade bottles (24oz) in my "sitting" and in between shots i eat. Maybe not a LOT but take for instance today, I finally went to bed at 4:00 am on the 17th, slept till 3:30 pm then did not do anything but eat cereal, strawberries, hummus and waffles all day, as well as drink lots of milk, ( I LOVE MILK) an some snacks. Then I picked up my "girlfriend" about 930, didnt do any untill 11pm. and since then i have drank 3 24oz bottles of water, eaten taco bell, and I love making deviled eggs so i have had about 4 of those and some fresh strawberries. I think that I found SOME of my problem shaking, its all technique. I have been shooting for 2 months now and i missed a shot a week ago for the first time and since then its been hard to get my shakes under control on fear that I will miss again. Tonight I had confidence and a new technique and I have been successfull in the 2 shots I have had. and on that note if I do save the shot due to not being able to hit I always refigerate, I used sterile water. (distilled) and I am as clean as possible, I dont dig or create bloody areas that just isnt me. but question, everyone always says Sterile Saline solution is the cleanest, what exactly is it, when I go to Walgreens the only SSS is like the rinse for contacts? I bought some but havent used it beacuase that just doesnt seem right any help

Question for you that is about topic just not administered the same way. My gf did meth for about 3-4 months, only smoked and ate her never anything more serious like I got into, but she has been clean for 4 weeks now and is getting these horrible night mares. She had a lot of childhood issues as well and the person in her night mares are always the evil person from her childhood along with dreams about the drug. ANyone know how long these last, I looked somethings up and they all point to night "terrors" but she has been clean for a month (today is exactly a month) :) will she aways have them? She was a user but not a heavy one. PLease help.

I'm sorry to hear about your girlfriend. Hopefully she won't have them forever, no, but it does sound like she could do with some counselling or some sort of therapy to help deal with her childhood traumas, maybe she could look into this? I don't know why stopping methamphetamine would paricularly bring them on, except that the after-effects might have made her more susceptible to nightmares or less able to cope with what happened to her..

In terms of sterile saline, the best thing is sealed ampoules. It doesn't especially need to be saline for small amounts, water ampoules are fine too. The problem comes with injecting large amounts of plain water. Because this is hypotonic, it dilutes the blood and can cause red bood cells to swell and burst (haemolysis). The amounts you would use when injecting don't matter though, and the water will be mixed with the drug, so water or saline is fine.

If you go for saline, the one you want is 0.9% NaCl - anything stronger will be an irritant to your veins. I wouldn't have thought that the contact lens solution would be right at all but I've never considered it before.. I'd have imagined that it was too concentrated and possibly had preservatives etc in that you wouldn't want to be injecting. Plus, once a big container is opened, it won't be sterile anymore - the salinity will prevent most bugs from growing, but it's still not as good as individual ampoules.

Overall the best thing is individual sterile ampoules, 0.9% saline or water, preferably bacteriostatic, but this doesn't matter so much if you mix your shot and shoot straight away. You can get these online and I would highly recommend doing so. Next best I guess would be boiled tap water.. not thought about the next best thing as much as I would only use sterile ampoules myself..
