It's another day, I really got into a mess last nite, praying il hold my shit together today, I dont feel bad, more dissapoint. Another weekend about to finish, i hope the realestate people are doing thier jobs and i get the phonecall i want on monday morning.

That is so Fucked up... they were the ones who got ill from all the pulverised dust and shit, not to mention they were the people who were first line of help, while Governer Bush read my pet goat to elementry school kids, and the rest of em im sure knew what was coming, Utterly discusting, If i were goin there id have rotten fruit to throw @ all those fatcats and war mongers. The honor we get today doesn't come from getting atop any fucking stage, or from any fucking fancy speeches. Honor comes from within, and selfless-service doesn't need a goddamned PA to be recognized.
So I'll be standing amongst my fellow Americans and heroes in the crowd, as we honor the brave, the fallen, and the support/sacrifice lent us by people around the world; while we reaffirm our united purpose in stamping out oppression, hatred, and any who attack the just cause of freedom.
I fought next to Australians, Britons, Poles, Estonians, Koreans, Colombians..... because their countrymen & many other nationalities died as well in those towers and those planes...... too many people have forgotten (or chosen to ignore) that 11 September 2001 wasn't just a yellow-bellied, inhuman, murderous, mass-assault on America alone.

I'm not saying that calling someone a fascist for holding a different view is at all right. However encouraging people to have a high degree of healthy scepticism about how events are presented to them and/or manipulated to suit an underlying agenda is nothing but good. Even if you flick through the different news channels you can see how news stories are reported differently depending on the political leanings of each particular channel. Again I'll clarify, I am not agreeing with any political standpoint here, but learning to be cynical about the information presented to you is an extremely good thing.

Agreed. I didn't mean facist, I was kind of angry, but of course i have a right to be skeptical, and I'm not angry people don't agree with me, I'm angry that people are putting me down for my opinion. It isn't right and they're thinking that they're better than me for their opinions, that's what I'm angry about.
Well put, have you seen what they're doing for the memorial? It's nice to see them turn ground zero into something meaningful for the families who lost their loved ones.

I'm not trying to win any argument. I don't care whether or not I win or not, but I think that putting me down for an opinion is way out of line, and that's why I'm angry. I'm ALWAYS open to other points of view, and I'm not rejecting opposing arguments, but i fail to see how my friend calling me an idiot is giving ANY proof. I totally understand what you're saying, but I can't really bring myself to fully agree with the majority in a case like this, and it's all a matter of fact and opinion.
