Lol @ not touching a meph stash.

I thought I'd be clever and buy 250g of the best Meph I'd ever tried (pretty sure it was a pure enantiomer, as opposed to racemic) just before the UK ban. After about 5 weeks, and 50g of Meph lighter, I decided that the remaining 200g was never going to be a 'stash'; moreover a passport to ruin, so I got rid of it in one block for a little more than I had paid for it whilst legal.
 
Ha I got too many real world responsibilities to get through huge amounts, do it 2-3 times a week maybe, always make sure I have a kip etc.....certainly not a case of "not touching a meph stash", just managed to chance upon a decent sized one at the start of this year, <3

Rather reputable vendor based in Europe was selling mephedrone looking like this about 6 months ago... Plus similar looking "rice crystals" seem very popular in the US.

btw does 4-MEC smell the same way 4-MMC does? Thanks.

mmm got a half oz of pre ban in arms reach. few fuckin drinks and the temptation rises. Fuck i wish vals still k.o'd me instead of keeping me sane daily and not touching me at all recreationally. Need a fuckin opiate to be gone haha, cant deal with the wd's again though.. gotta try get my job back and get my tattoo finished tmr n all. Reet down this rum for z's and if i get my shit sorted tmr ima have a cheeky line or 20 TOMORROW haha

Basically, the odour is similar but nowhere near as strong. The sting however is very very different. You will simply know if 4-MEC was being passed off as 4-MMC. Given both are illegal in the UK anyway, there's no reason to think that one would be passed off as the other. I know 4-MMC is subject to much more of a global production clampdown, but it is still available, and it wouldn't take an enterprising dealer too much effort in getting some. It's much more likely that 4-mmc is being cut in the same way as coke. I've seen the "shards" going around in the south, and it's not even close to being as good as pre-ban meph. It is meph though, without a doubt. It's extremely easy to recrystallise a cut product. In fact, the 'shards' strike me as quite clandestine anyway, as distinct from a factory produced synth / crystal.
 
Yep, I've just had a sample of this shardlike 4-MMC, and yes, IMO it deffo not 4-MEC, very very good indeed, looks like there's some production cranking up somewhere! I've been told there's a fair bit available already.

I think my last post related to mephedrone was in the megathread III or something : I'm just not getting any younger 8o

I tried to utfse and see if the following piece of information had already been discussed around here, but came up empty: the wikipedia page on mephedrone has grown like mad since I last went there and there's a reference to an article published by the British Journal of Pharmacology (abstract of the original article), showing that there was a 500% increase in DA in the nucleus accumbens of rats following ingestion/injection of meph and a 950% increase in SE.

They go on to compare with the increases brought about by MDMA (SE: +900%, DA: not much) and amphetamine (SE: not much, DA:+400%). Although there's no mention of it in the article, if memory serves me well, increases of DA in the NA were measured at around 400% for cocaine and at 1000%+ for methamphetamine.

If these results are totally in line with the stronger moreishness/addictiveness experienced by most meph users compared to MDMA - that and its shitty shorter half-life - I find it really hard to believe that MDMA does not seem to release any significant amount of DA in the nucleus accumbens, since I always believed that the release of DA in the NA was absolutely crucial for the perception of pleasure/euphoria. Am I getting something wrong here?

Pretty interesting stuff at any rate...

I just got my first sample of 4-mmc after a 12 month post-ban abstinence, so I tried a cheeky line to check for quality and boy, I had forgotten how much effect it has on the heart rate! I felt like I had run 100 metres in under 10 seconds. I've been taking MPA and MDPV over the past year and they hit nothing like as hard. Looking forward to a proper session tonight.
 
Hearing from friends around the country that 4-MMC is back. My brother in Portsmouth says that as of two weeks ago, he's able to get it again. And a friend up near Leeds says the same. It was always just weeding out the 4-MEC :D

Think i have forgotten what real meph feels like.... Hopefully some of the stuff flying around will find its way to me!!!
 
This must all have been produced in the same place, everyone finding the same? pure white when crushed, long clear shards, smells like meph, but not as rank as some I've had, very very clean high.

I was told the one i tried was from india, all of a sudden it's everywhere! Good News!
