i'm expecting baby number 3. 12 weeks along, and i am soooo nervous with this one! every little cramp is stressing me out! i already have two boys, maybe this one will be a much needed girl. congrats to all the other expecting mamas out there now!!
 
I have 2 boys and a girl. I remember all the pressure I had to "have a girl". My Mother actually told me "Well you have the heir and the spare, now make a girl". I think my hubs and I were the only ones who could have cared less what the sex was lol.

Everyone always said 'You have your girl now, so you're done right?" and they give you that "knowing" look.

In my parenting experience my boys were a cake walk and my daughter is a hormonal lunatic (not that I would trade her for the world, I wouldn't). I do usually say though that if she had been born first she would have been an only child.

Wonderful news, darthmom! <3 I also hope you have a little bebe girl, but above all that your little one is healthy and with all the correct fingers, toes, etc =D

sooo true, it is amazing how much it is brought up by others more than us. while admitting i would love to bring a little girl into my family of boys, i would be happy either way...i love having a house full of men. but i do almost feel as though i would "disappoint" every one else if it doesn't happen :D
 
Wello if it is a boy, then all you have to worry about is the "Ohh so you're gonna try again for a girl right?" lol.. f*uckin humans.

Thank you amor, i really appreciate that! GEG did i read that the same congrats needs to be heaped upon you?? are you guys expecting too?
 
awesome!! ok, now see we have an even better excuse to get together. our kids will be the same age :D BTW, it looks like you're having a turtle!

i get my first 3-D ultrasound this week, for a neuchal cord transluscency test (basically a new non invasive alternative to an amnio for us old people...i'm 35) i can't wait to see it, i'll post it as soon as i get it.
 
congrats DM! we definitely will have to do some beach days together again :D
 
woah woah woah! DM and GEG pregnancys!? congratulations to both of you! I clearly don't come around often enough if I'm missing stuff like this!

Ahem....who u callin old?? I was FORTY when my last lil miracle was born.....and I'm thoroughly diggin every second! Can't believe he's already 3 mos old! And growing like a weed (and I've grown enough weed to know! Lol!) He started laughing a couple weeks ago, so now I spend hours making goofy faces at him to hear those adorable baby giggles! <3:)<3
