Harm Reduction Safe to take 70s-80s vintage Quaaludes?

Has anybody done this and lived to tell about it? Or does anyone know the likely degradation products? These are very probably real ("inherited" from a friend's 50-something dad) and they can't be the only ones that survived to be eaten thirty years later.

I think it would depend on how well they have been stored for the past 30 years, If stored right they could still be good I would think.

Are they in the foil looking strip packaging, or were they from say, a 100 count pharmacy bottle ?

I did some quaaludes a couple years ago that were from the 70's...you'll be fine to do them. Enjoy.

i took some codeine pills from 1976 i found @ a relatives home one day and they were fine, worked great actually. storage is pretty key though like most have said. i dont imagine it could really harm you after taking it i mean what else would happen other than not working?

like was said.. they will (or should) work, just make sure you don't say to your self "oh they are really old, i will need twice as much to get off" because that is where problems would start.

Begin with 1, and see how you feel and judge from there.
