Hi all @ BL. The problem I got (if you can call it a problem) is that a friend who know's I like opiates gave me what was left of his mothers perscription for a terminal ilness. I have included a link to the picture.

hxxp://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z253/sativa303/P1010144-1.jpg Is picture linking allowed ?.

He gave me a bottle of Oxycodone 10ml oral soultion and a pack of Oxcycontin 40mg slow release tablets(same as codone). Is this stuff any good ?.

To be honest I much prefer H powder to taking prescription drugs even though they are safer.

The thing is I am currently taking 60ml of Methadone daily and when I took 1 tablet or 10ml of the liquid I felt no effect at all. I love nodding and have not had a good "nod" or "gouch" as they call it here in the U.K. for years since the H where I live in West Yorkshire is either of terrible quality or impossible to get hold of.

I am wanting to know if because of my Methadone use, will I not feel the Oxy because of my high resistence or would I get a hit from not taking my Methadone that day and just taking Oxy ?.

I know that mixing different drugs can be dangerous and I am wanting to know how much of this stuff would get an average user a hit ?.

Laters..

If you are taking 60mg of methadone per day, you are going to need a lot more than 10mg of oxycodone to feel any effect. When I was on 80mg of methadone daily, I would not feel even 100mg of oxycodone, even after skipping my dose for two days.

Methadone is much much more powerful than oxycodone by weight, and unless you take a large dose I would not expect much from it. Even when I had a small tolerance, I would rarely achieve a 'nod' from oxycodone. It is kinda more stimulating than other morphine derived opioids, such as heroin or dilaudid.

You are right at the threshold for methadone to attenuate other opiates. Lower your dose if you want to take other opiates alongside it.

Oxycodone hcl. kills my chronic pain condition better than any other oral med. the only thing that works better is
emergancy room iv hydromorphone or meperidine (which almost no E.R. uses anymore) the only times it didnt work good
was after I used methadone, buprenorphine, fentynal etc.. over extended periods. Oxycodone lost its ability to kill my pain
for a long time using these other meds' I had to abstain on as little Subutex,Tramadol as possible for at least 4 months
to get the pain killing properties back from the oxycodone hcl. even though I suggest trying to use small amounts of
bupe' if it works at all for your pain instead. For me Methadone screwed up my receptors for a long time and does not
work for my pain

Couple years ago, i was on the same dose methadone as you (60mg). Oxy wouldn't even phase me on Done. I remember once I hadn't dosed in 2 days and I did an OC 80 and a half (120mg), and it didn't even come close to gettin the sick away. Once u kick methadone you will see how evil a drug it is.

Thanks for the replys people. I also read/heard somewhere that the methadone molecule has a greater "affinity" than other opiates. I'll hold onto them for a friend or watever..

^hahaha. Come to Miltown - WE can be friends ;) I got me some 'dones. I try not to take them unless ABSOLUTELY necessary.

*good decision, to lay off, lower the tolerance/level or amount needed to achieve whatever it is you need. If you want to feel a(n/y other) opiate that'll be necessary.

I'm getting another stock of Dillies in an hour and a half. My legs are SCREAMING for them - must... resist... the methadone. - won't be a problem ;)
