Thinking about candyflipping, what are the effects?

Hi all,
i have a festival coming up, and i was thinking about having LSD and then MDMA afterwards, and i wanted to know what the effects from this are? and if it is a good idea or not. I'm not talking anything big, sticking to half an acid tab, and 1-2 MDMA pills. Any feedback is appreicated!
 
Well the effects can be best described as a mix of LSD and MDMA. :D You get the psychedelia from the LSD, but everything is "coloured" in warm MDMA euphoria. Candyflipping has a tendency to 'take the edge off LSD' (not that this edge is a bad thing, but that's for another discussion). Music sounds really, really good when candyflipping. I would say it's even better than LSD or MDMA by itself.

Half a tab of acid might be a tad on the weaker side (depending on how strong your blotters are and how many you are used to taking). While such combinations usually require less of both substances, I feel that it's important to not underdose on a given substance, this way substance X won't be overpowering the effects of substance Y. You want to candyflip and not just roll with some mild psychedelics effects. Regardless, make sure to dose low on both substances. Maybe something like 1 blotter and 1.5 pills (again, all depending on the quality of your gear).

You might also notice some disorientation from combining these substances, but you really won't care. Just make sure to not do any other stuff like alc and be in a comfortable environment. Take breaks, sip on some water when thirsty and all that jazz... :)
 
The only way I would ever do LSD again is to mix it with MDMA The MDMA chases all the things I hate about LSD away and all that is left are the visuals and the increased headspace. that coupled with the intence pleasure of MDMA made for one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had.

I would rather slide down a 50ft razerblade into a tub of alcohol than take LSD by itself ever again. but I would take it if I knew I had some MDMA to go with it

On to my personal experience. I've had a lot of experience with the two on their own amongst many other psychedelics when I tried my first 'flip. I've candyflipped twice. Its such an intense experience. I noticed one thing in common between the two. I felt like my thoughts were running a million miles per hour (LSD) and that I wasn't overly loved up but that I got the warmth from the MDMA and the wanting to hug. I'd say it took some of the overly intense loving feelings. Ugh lol I feel like I'm talking myself in a circle cause for me, its hard to describe in detail. Dose low though, my first time was 1 hit and 2 caps of MDMA. My 2nd time was 80mg of MDMA and 3 hits of liquid, 2 hits of gels though I'd dosed the day before.
 
i just tried it for the first time at a festival a couple weekends ago (tripped the night before, and only took one hit of acid, but it was potent, along with about .2-.3g molly)

best of both worlds really imo. only dilemma was that i wanted to talk to anyone and everyone, caught myself talking about a million miles an hour, but when i tried to take a breath and slow myself down i'd get interested into something else and wander off lol

definitely dose low, especially on the acid, they kind off build off each other. though the roll does take the edge off a trip a bit as said before

I think, the best way I can do it. Is. Your on acid, and then, your on MDMA....at the same time. Yeah. Just dose the MDMA when your peaking from the LSD. The MDMA experience will be standard (aka fucking amazing), I'd say it can really improve your acid trip and make things a lottt more comfortable and joyous. Your mind will be so scrambled and all over the place though, it's very easy to embrace and it's very happy :)

Music is amazing, and just the movement of your body and looking around becomes about as entertaining as it gets.

I say, take the same dose of LSD and MDMA that you would take if you were going to do them separately. There is no reason not to, in my opinion.

I totally agree with you. I can tell you must get ready for some techno music and psychedelic patterns when your eyes will be closed, and that's just wonderful and amazing... It feel like u expand ur mind, its crazy, can't describe it, tho does who did it probably know what I mean!
 
I find with candyflipping the MDMA smooths out the LSD visuals and the mindstate becomes warmer than on acid alone as the positive push of mdma minimizes the frantic uncertainity sometimes experienced on LSD alone. Music sounds great, The only downside I've experienced from it is it tends to feel more intoxicating than what I experience on either alone, I feel fairly uncoordinated on it and have access to water or something.

I've heard that said often and that's the thing that would keep me from doing any kind of flip.
That 'loved-up' aspect of mdma is too special to mess with for us (especially since we wait 3 months between rolls--that would make it a whole six months for that awesome lovey-dovey connection we share)

I wouldn't say it takes away the loved up feelings, it just transforms them into something else. You still feel loved up, but not in such a "urgent" way. I'd say the LSD makes the MDMA love feel more cosmic and global. It's like you appreciate the "lovedupness" in a more holistic way.
 
I tried it for the first time the other day. One and a half tabs of acid (and AMAZING stuff ... people that have done acid for years took it too and were like WOW) and then took 150 mg of pure MDMA near the end of the acid. I might have taken it too late though, I was starting to come down when I took the m. It was still good, but not amazing. If you enjoy them both - try it!

about an hour into the trip, or mayb 1.5hrs, as the hits kicking in, drop some M
about 125mg as the M kicks in, u will feel it elevate you overtop the Acid buzz!!
very cool body buzz and feels wicked
depending on how crazy u like ur acid trip, if u love it crazy, pop 2 hits of acid
always wait for the gap, at about 2hrs or just ahead of that when doing the flip
have some good chronic available to taste up the afffair!

This, its like you can feel love for 6.5 billion individual people at the same time. And the visuals have a loving tint to them, I guess. Its hard to explain, just do it
 
Candyflipping is tons of fun. I prefer it to doing either alone. The combination is just sooooo perfect.

I feel that levictus hit the nail on the head here. I actually will go as far as to say I agree with this a little more than my initial post. I think that the LSD really fills out the loved up feeling-Some people feel that MDMA's euphoria can feel superficial-I don't feel this way but some do. For me, if this were to be the case, LSD would take away that superficial feeling-it just makes MDMA feel more rounded out and definitely makes the psychedelic aspects of MDMA more pronounced where as the MDMA makes the connected feeling more pronounced. IME, the two complement each other's effects really well.
