Saturday is my 21st birthday and I plan on having myself a time. I'm getting some coke and I just want to make sure I'm being safe. I plan on getting a half a gram for myself. Is this safe? Is this a lot? I just don't want to go overboard but I also want to feel it.

Most cocaine is cut with veterinary dewormer (levamisole) which makes it significantly more toxic. Also most street cocaine is stamped to shit and totally worthless depending on your location and who you know.

An active dose of pharmaceutical cocaine should be anywhere from 20 to 40mg, but nobody serious sells pharmaceutical cocaine in 500mg lots except for Sigma-Aldrich...
 
a buddy of mine is hooking me up. aside from testing is there any general way to tell if it's decent? by toxicity are you referring to the brain or the heart?

If you knew it was sliced off a key, I'd say go for it, but hard tellin' w/ a half G... got a good magnifier/200 watt bulb ? really not braggin' but anymore I can tell by smell/looking at it in sunshine.

Good blow is pure euphoria...If it makes you feel jerky, paranoid, urge to sit on the shitter
it's likely mostly cut..go w/ yer' brain & not yer' gut.

Well, since its your birthday coming up, im sure you wanna have fun. Just becareful & have fun. Do 1 or 2 small lines to start & see how you like it. Wait about 30 minutes before snorting more. Before snorting, you could put some on you finger & rub it on your gums to see how numb you mouth gets.

Ive tried coke & never liked it. I think you would have a better time on MDMA.

Birthday is a perfect time to try it out. Like people are saying, your cocaine will probably not be very pure at all. However if you do manage to land your hand on silky-smooth cocaine, I have no doubts you'll have a pleasant experience.

I'd say a good line of coke is like waking up as a kid and realizing it's Christmas.

Absolutely. You can always do more, but once you do it you cannot do less.. And doing too much cocaine (especially unpure cut up cocaine) is extremely unpleasant. So just start by doing a couple small bumps to make sure of no allergic reactions. Wait 20-30 minutes and then do a small sized line. So where that gets you. Wait an hour before re-dosing, and use the potency established by your first line to gauge how much to do from there on out.

You only have half a gram, so I wouldn't worry too much about getting mad strung out and having a wicked comedown and shit. Im sure you'll be drinking since it is your 21st birthday, so that will help ease the anxiety and whatnot. Though, mixing alcohol and cocaine creates a substance called cocoaethylene, which is markedly more toxic than cocaine on it's own.

That said, be safe and have a good time on your 21st birthday, man. :D Have a drink and a line for me. I remember my 21st birthday, in the hospital having emergency surgery after nearly dying from a collapsed lung, and finding out I have stage IV lymphoma. Bummer. But that's another story.

Have a good time ! Just use your brain and you'll be just fine.
 
Im new to this site but was wondering if anyone knew of a link between doing cocaine and getting blurred vision after a long night of using...Probably is unrelated but any info would help. Thanks.
 
21st B day is a perfect time to try out coke. u can drink as much as possible and then do a liitle line and your fine. I would recommend xanax or valium for coming down off coke tho.

This is not safe advice.. 'Drinking as much as possible', and then doing lines of coke and taking benzos on the comedown is not in line with harm reduction. Alcohol + cocaine creates cocoaethylene, which is more toxic. Then adding benzos on top of that can be a recipe for disaster. Now many people (myself included) can succesfully combine said substances, but this is after gaining much experience with each substance on its own. Advising someone with no tolerance/experience with cocaine/benzos to combine the two with copious amounts of alcohol is just stupid.

Lets keep the advice given on here in line with the posting standards we pride ourselves with here in other drugs.
 
Ok, I am in a similar position next weekend to catinthehat except i am old enough to be his / her dad. Was going to get a half gram of cocaine for weekend to see how rush compares to ice (methamp) which I love.
By a small line, are we talking 0.025 (0.25 of 0.1 gram)?
I find it a bit touch and go if I have ice Sat night / Sunday morning to be OK (and not visible) for work Monday morning. I know everyone is different but, generally, how long does it take until third parties would be able to spot cocaine use? (I mean people at work, not drug testers or anything).
 
if u get half decent coke then i realy hope u aernt like %90 of the population that will get hooked on this shit....just a few words from a long time user who used to think he would never get addicted to cocaine as he was always a downers guy, cocaine is a bitch ass party drug...it may be bad advice to say u will enjoy coke more drunk but what i can tell u is that i never use cocaine without alcohol and i have been using cocaine daily for several years, i wont lie, the shit is very enjoyable and socialy its one of the best drugs but be careful or u will end up like me right now writing to you alone with a drink in my hand and coked out my head...half a gram u say... i cant talk to u about dosages because i got no idea how is the gear u get but from a cokehead with heavy tolerance who gets more than average decent coke can use about 2 or 3 grams a day.....
 
If the coke is ok you'll go through that half gram and be fiending for more.
I only do coke when I drink...it may not be in line with HR but I find that drinking stops me fiending for the drug and also helps me sleep better at the end of the night. Also advised that if you are drinking alcohol then also drink water when you can.
I'd reccomend speed (non meth) or MDMA any day over coke as a party drug.
It's my 21st in a couple of weeks too =) got a nice lil cocktail planned lol. Hope you have a good one!
