How much guaifenesin = vomiting?

I have pills that are 25mg ephedrine and 400mg guaifenesin. I know "in high doses" guaifenesin can cause projectile vomiting, but how much is a "high dose"?

Probably several grams (2-3+)

Not everybody gets wierd GI symptoms but many do, vomiting, cramps, gas etc.

^This. You may notice very minor cramps, nausea and gas at lower doses however. Considering there is 25mg of ephedrine in the formulation you're working with, you'd probably overdose or at least have a horrible horrible reaction to the ephedrine before you had any sort of GI issues with the guaifenesin.

Ah, thank you. I was wondering because 400mg seems like a lot so I didn't know if taking two pills (800mg) would make me puke.

Ephedrine is a poor stimulant for most people (I know one girl who _flies_ for 24+ hrs off of half a 25mg pill orally, but that's highly abnormal)

You can also get rid of the guiafenisen (or most of it, while losing very little ephedrine) with an acetone wash - but i'm not sure that's worth it for such a crap stimulant.

Ephedrine is a pretty good stimulant for my exercise if I take 50mg+ mixed with caffeine. 25mg doesn't do much, 50mg gives an energy boost, 100mg (I rarely do this much at once) feels similar to 10mg adderall.

yea, it's in ac cheratussin and people chug that stuff. i do not feel any stomach problems at 1,200mg.
