I am sorry if this has been discussed. It is late and I have been up for two days so forgive me for not searching through everything.
I have been taking watson's 5mg/500 vicodin for awhile now. I was diagnosed with lupus and have been having pain. whatever... I need them.
So I have been getting 90 5mg's forever.. I call in a refill to my pharmacy they call the dr to confirm.. bingo I am a pretty comfy.
they are normally white, oblong and have a v one one side and 347? or something like that on the other side.
I usually plug because I have wicked stomach ulcers and well sometimes I just need it to hit faster. I deal with a lot of pain so the faster the better.
Now today I went in to the pharmacy I have been getting my pills at forever.. and took my bag home.. opened it.. The label says the same thing it always says.. But the pills are different.. I have 90 large pink pills one side a V and the other side a 3600. Google tells me these are 10mg/500. So apparently my pharm has fucked up? Giving me pills 2x stronger the normal? Now inside I am like WOOT! Twofor! but I am also a little concerned .. Do I phone them and say there was a mistake or pretend it never happened? Can I get into trouble over this?
And also.. can I still plug these? They are not some new weird thing that would like be unpluggable? I could eat them but tylenol and Ibuprofren are murder on my belly...
So.. what to do?
TIA for any advice.
