Piracetam Potentiation

OK, first of all let me start off by saying i know there is a dosage thread but this is kind of different.

I will be piracetam attack dose 2400mg at lunch time and dropping around 5-6pm. I have never taken piracetam before.

How much will this potentiate my MDMA? I will be at an event, so dont want to be retarded. I have a pretty high tolerance, and am very experienced. My usual dosage is 200mg + 150mg an hour later.


Do you think this will be too much with piracetam? How much does it really potentiate it? Does it make it unbearably strong? Any insight is greatly appreciated.
 
There is no scientific data that has concluded how much piracetam potentiates MDMA or any other drug to my knowledge. For some, it's a miracle and does wonders- for others it does hardly anything.

I think your attack dose is fine, but I would reduce your initial MDMA dose (you can always take more, you can never take less). I have heard a few accounts of making it far too intense- so perhaps cutting your initial dose down to 125-150 mgs would be wise. If 200 mgs typically feels quite strong to you, 200 mgs with piracetam also in your system will likely be overwhelming. Piracetam is great, but it has it's own reported side effects and reported issues or odd results here and there.
 
Bsiren - would you recommend against taking it before an event the first time? Excuse my lazyness, but can you please elaborate on the side effects, reported issues and odd results.

The only side effect i have heard of is headaches, due to not taking a choline supplement.
 
I've not experienced headaches, but I eat a lot of natural choline in my diet.

If you are concerned, go for 1600mgs of piracetam, and take 150 mgs of MDMA to start. If you've never taken a supplement, it's best to start at a reasonable dose rather than "attack" dosing yourself.

I don't know if this is considered a "odd result" or not, but for me it lessened the "loved-up" aspect of the roll, on the few times I tried it. I have seen a few other posts that have reported the same thing.
 
I would recommend going with your initial plan. Combining piracetam with MDMA can result in a surprisingly wide spectrum of results. For me, it makes the roll more lucid and more magical. For avcpl, it lessens the "loved-up" aspect of the roll.

Since you're pretty experienced with MDMA, I think you should be fine when preloading with piracetam.
 
It will be 100% worth it. Ever had the feeling of being floored? Say bye to that. Last time I rolled was off of some of the purest MDMA I have ever had the pleasure of sampling. I'd say in the 90-95% purity. I dropped 300mg at once with 3.6g of piracetam and that was quite the magical night. My tolerance wasn't all that high either.

See, that was the exact thing I experienced with piracetam--completely floored with little of the other effects; it was only a body high. I've tried different dosing regimes, choline, and pills, setting everything else was good. I'm really disappointed it didn't work for me like it does for most people; I really wanted it to!

I am in the minority for sure and I agree that the OP should try it. But, it's not 100% guaranteed they will like it--more like 99.9%... ;)

How soon after the piracetam did you take the mdma? I've heard that if you take it too soon after an attack dose the piracetam will lessen the effects of the mdma, somewhere around 5-7hours later I hear is the best timing.

5-7 hours is actually probably too long as piracetam's half life is something like ~4 hours. I would imagine taking an hour or two before dropping would be the best schedule. That's typically what I do before I drop and it works pretty well. :)
